I'm having an incredibly hard time deciding whether I want to be a Qunari Warrior or a Elven Rouge. Both backgrounds sound pretty cool, the Elf being a spy and the Qunari a mercenary. I was dead set on the Qunari until i saw some of the screenshots of the Elves in Inquisition. So how about you? are you 100% on your first Inquisitor or are you stuck like me?
Anyone else stuck on this decision?

Ugh, the struggle is real! I thought a Qunari mage would be cool, seeing how mages are treated in Qunari society and being able to be all free and rebellious. But I love the elves and the Dalish in general! So I'm torn between a Qunari mage and elven rogue for my first playthrough. Probably play around with the CC and just picking the look I like better, hehe. Or creating both off the bat and alternating between the two.

I know exactly what I'm playing as for my first playthrough. A human female mage.
If you're still not sure by the time the game is released, flip a coin to see which one you play first and then do another playthrough playing as the one that wasn't for your first playthrough.

I'm having this problem. On the one hand, I LOVE Qunari (as evidence by my avatar).
But on the other, I love the background of the Human Mage, and the idea of a Human Mage being the leader of the Inquisition just seems so...right.
So I think that'll be my first playthrough. But then I'm being a Qunari.

Almost certain my first Inquisitor will be male human mage, but there's a teeny tiny part of me that wants to go female Qunari first. But then I'd have to wait for Cassandra, and I don't think that's happening. Female Qunari is a definite second.

I'm going with 2 Inqs at a time to avoid some of the agony of having to just pick one. I'll have a female dwarf dual-wielder (tempest specialization, eventually) and a male qunari mage (rift mage.) After that I'll play two Dalish, one mage, one archer.

Sounds good to me XD the biggest thing at the moment is i really would like to see some CC action of the Qunari or at least a better look at the male Qunari because the female one looked great and the male one on the dragon age inquisition site looks like an ape lol.

Be the qunari. Why would you want to be Elven cosmetics?

Ugh I feel you so much! I'm torn between either the qunari, the humans or the elves, male for sure since i wanna get me some male lovin with The Iron Bull, and i dont even know if i'm gonna go warrior or mage.
Why Bioware. Why do you give us races back. Such torment.

I am a little stuck on deciding whether to play as a Rouge or a Warrior. I guess it will likely come down to gameplay preference.

Not having the same problem, as this is the first time the elf romances are unappealing to me (and I usually pair my characters with LIs of the same race if possible). Not playing as a qunari on the first playthrough will be hard though. So badass, so cool.

Female Dwarven warrior (either champion or templar), but probably will have a female human mage (Rift mage or KE) running concurrently.

If qunari is a choice then qunari is the answer. besides...rogues are soooooo overplayed/overused and elves.......
submit to the Qun!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to stick with my female Qunari warrior plan, but my ol' female elf is still being considered, somewhere.

I planned my Inquisitor when DA ][ ended. Human Mage, two choices I knew did would always exist in Dragon Age. These other races are overrated.

Going with a human female warrior the first time round I'm 100% on that one. My second play through is an entirely different story.

Playing two at once to start. Male elf rogue, and female Qun mage. Don't know which will finish the game first. Probably the female as I use them to checkout the story mine field so the males have a better life.

I'm also stuck, my first play through is always a non 'canon' run to just get an idea of how the game works and what the story is, I want to make all the mistakes with this disposable character before I use my 'real' ones.
Leaning towards a female Qunari rogue, a class I love and find easy to play but a race I'm not fussed about so I won't get attached.

I already know I want to play a dwarf rogue first. The trouble is deciding what world to import with him. Originally I wasn't going to import my canon world first play, now I'm reconsidering that.
Though, generally, when I have trouble deciding on such things, I roll a die. Often a d20 or a d10:
(Because coin flips are for normal people.

I want to be a Dalish Elf my first play through but then I'm worried I might just make them a copy of my warden commander(I know dumb right). So I actually don't know what i'll play as until I'm right there at the character creation screen.

Ugh, is this where we complain about having too many options?
I am absolutely sure of what I want to play... it just changes daily. I know I'm going to be a female mage, and I was torn between human or qunari. After seeing all the elves and learning a bit more about the background, I'm totally lost. I won't know for sure until I play the game.

My first/main inquisitor will now be a female elf mage, but I originally desperately wanted to make a fem qunari. With the news that Cullen is race-gated, I changed it to elf because I wanted Cullen to be the LI for my primary world state (my main warden is a mage and I wanted that bit of history for my headcanons so...).
It's what I'll play next that is the big decision for me. I really want to play female qunari, but I also want to romance Dorian asap. They're both mutually exclusive...
so Idk I'll see I guess.
