I hear we'll be able to forge our own equipment and weapons, and give them names. This feature has peaked my interest and I look forward to experiencing it, but I was wondering if we would have free reign in terms of naming our equipment.
Character limits I understand, let's make that clear. But will we be able to type whatever name we want for a weapon, and have it take without a little error warning of "This language is obscene and must cannot be saved" like some games do.
Well, it's in the singleplayer. Don't see why it would get censored, unless your weapon names get shared or something.

Which is entirely possible. I know Origins posted the entire character to the last site this forum inhabited.

Where the multiplayer character names censored in MassEffect3? I don't remember.
You can name your characters anything, but screen names were not censored. Never saw the point to naming ME3 multiplayer toons when no one could see the names.

Aye, but that's the trend in gaming now it seems, one doesn't need to look hard to find people like that 
If there is censoring I hope it isn't as wonky as it is in Pokemon. Couldn't even name a Bunnelby "Thumper" after the rabbit from Bambi...
I'd rather be creative and call them things like naming an ax Human Resources and a staff Staff Meeting. The novelty will probably still wear off, but then it will be just a bad joke, not a bad joke that I'd rather no one else saw.
I hope not. I don't understand censoring curse words, it's not part of my culture. Tv-shows that aren't for kids (teenagers and up) don't censor those so why should games that are rated M?
I'm pretty sure there will be swearing in the game, if the previous entries and ME are any indicator so....I don't know why they'd censor the equipment naming if the game is already rated high enough for that!
It depends on if you something the sword of ****. 
I wouldn't name my weapons something crass and juvenile like that because it would constantly jar me out of the immersion I crave. I tend to try and make things fit into the world I'm inhabiting. I could possibly see a barbaric reaver naming his sword something unpleasant but it would probably be along the "invoke fear" arm of the offensive scale rather than the "lawl I made a name involving rape and yo mammas bunghole, haha YOLO"
That said, it a sp game so if thats your bag knock yourself out.
I wouldn't name mine an offensive name, but something that is worthy of a "LOL".... at least for my rogue who will use sarcasm as often as possible.....
Also, she will be British... British and Sassy aregreat together
