BioWare has always rehired the cast members they enjoyed working wtih, and who delivered good performances. And for good reason if you ask me.

The only real surprise for me, as it pertains to who is voicing in the game, was Freddie Prinze, Jr. However, watching his video, as he talks about Iron Bull and voice acting in general, the passion is real.

The way Jennifer Hale spoke about her role made me think she was voicing either Celene or Briala, (probably Briala).
I am most interested in finding out who Gwendoline Christie is playing. She's awesome.
What did she say about her role?

I know exactly how you feel MrDbow. I did the same thing when I saw that. I was sitting there thinking is he going make the iron bull like a DA I version of Vega or is he going to do something else(not saying vega was bad or anything). Oh thanks for posting that video by the way, I didn't see it before that. I was laughing throughout most of the video plus he talked about ME so bonus.

Alot of companies have certain voice actors they like to use for other projects. I have no issue with the ones Bioware likes to use alot since they always bring their A game and they normally have fantastic range.

I can't find the actual tweet, (and I looked really hard), but from what I remember she spoke highly of the role in a way that made me think her character was LGBT. Coupled with her tweets mentioning Patrick Weekes, I thought of Celene and Briala.

Not sure I could really imagine her as either Celene or Briala, though I only remember seeing/hearing her in one thing so I guess I don't know how flexible she is with voices.
EDIT: Woops, we're talking about Hale, not Christie. :S

Not your fault, I completely misinterpreted what I was replying to. :S

It should be noted, by the way, that Mark Meer has already played the warden. If you use "experienced male elf" voice, you've heard him voice the character ![]()
It would be very BioWare to do a mythology gag where its Shepards voiced its Wardens. I certainly wouldn't object.

Neither would I, I love Mark Meer's work. It would be cool if he voiced 'our' wardens.

It's like my whole childhood and then some was voiced by Jennifer Hale. I'm rather awestruck right now to be honest. Never noticed how much she's done.

Freddy seems really interested in voicing and being a part of video games. Iron Bull might allow him more range than James Vega, he seems to be putting more work into that role.

So it just clicked listening to the Enemies of Thedas trailer, but does the Elder One sound like Alduin to anyone else?
Am I hearing things?

He sounds a bit like that rock wraith demon dude to me, just...louder. Similar tone of voice, particularly in the 'Bow before your new god and be spared' line.

A lot of people thought The Enemy was Max von Sydow. He has a distinctive voice, and a long, long history of playing villains in film. He's done Skyrim, too, which the devs were looking at closely in the runup to Inquisition ![]()
