Well, for my Vanguard class I used inferno rounds and sledgehammer rounds to defeat Saren. I mapped Warp so that when I was ready, I would use it when Saren was at his weakest. I had Ashley and Tali with me because Ashley added on to the soldier part of the battle. I needed someone who could handle more than just one weapon. I had Tali because during the fight you are mostly fighting Synthetics and Tali is an Engineer and can easily take down a Geth. Tali had Cyro ammo to weaken Saren's accuracy when we were shot at. Ashley had Armor piercing rounds so that when I was done taking down his shields, he was already weakened. I also used my soldier class, but I forgot what upgrades he used.
How did you defeat Saren at the End?

I used a master gear assault rifle with scram rail, frictionless materials, and sledgehammer rounds. Garrus had a master gear assault rifle with snowblind rounds, and wrex had a master gear shotgun with sledgehammer rounds. Garrus and I had Predator H/M and Wrex had Colossus armor. Saren never stood a chance.

I had Garrus and Liara with me, so Garrus was doing all the healing and Liara was throwing him off the damn wall for me to pepper his cybernetic ass with chemical rounds.

i made him kill himself!!!!...and then the second time, i brought along Wrex and Garrus, threw lots of grenades, and show his ass off with my HMWP X pistol and Colossus X armor, and i equipped Wrex with the Berserker X heavy armor and the Pulse X assault rifle. I gave Garrus the Mercenary VIII medium Armor and the HMWA X Assault Rifle. Soverign-Saren didnt stand a chance.

every way possible, i always find a way to off him. although with an adept bastion it's the easiest. stasis, shoot, stasis, shoot, stasis, shoot - down

Sometimes I think he was easier to beat than the Thorian. She kept spitting out those annoying clones of that Asari.

best way to beat the thorian is use a wow-type strategy. have your squad hang back at a good position with a clear field of fire that will allow them to hit the creepers as they advance. to lure them you have to move up ahead and maybe shoot a node a few times to get them to attack.
the clone is the biggest problem but if you or a squaddie has dampening then her biotics get shut down allowing you to take her out fairly easily.

Lol yea I brought i forgot who and they had dampening. With My vanguard I jus threw her off the side of the building. This made it easier to advance.

Thorian is always the most annoying part of the game for me, not matter what my class is.
I think the first time I beat Saren I used the shield bypass rounds, because getting his sheilds down was too much work, every other time I just shot him until he died, using lift sometimes if I had it.

Is 'Saren' organic or synthetic at the end? Should make a difference in which ammo is most effective!
Anybody have a definite answer?
I'm there now, thinking about trying with my sniper rifle with the explosive rounds, since he hops around like a spider on meth, I only get an occasion good shot at him.

Lift and Inferno X rounds on guns that spat death like a firehose.
Liara and Garrus are typically my Ilos+ ground crew, because biotics make SarenHusk easy mode (to say nothing of lifting geth into zero-G "freefall" on the approach), and Garrus brings the tech shutdowns and an assault rifle. Plus, I feel like picking up Liara to tell you about Ilos then leaving her behind when you go is a kick in the teeth.
Inferno rounds mean Saren's taking a beating even as he leaps out of your field of vision.

With my Vanguard I lifted him and cast my Marksman.
With my Infiltrator I cast Immunity and then Marksman while using Overload to take down his shields.

Damn, ... I always though all I need to do is dismiss his claim and wait for the cinematics. But all I got was the Critical Mission Failure after like 25 seconds?
What did I wrong?

Frequent use of lift.

Use some biotic power to slow down Saren or make him fall to the ground while everyone else including you, shoot him up on the ground.

''Goodbye Shepard, thank you'' *gunshot*
And then i set Ash and Wrex on Soverign/Saren, he did'nt stand a chance, even on insanity.

Lift and throw with my Vanguard made everything easy.

Saren killed himself for me, turned out he was a hero and a true Spectre in the end.
If you don't get this option, just use an Assault Rifle with Inferno rounds and a frictionless materials upgrade, and hold down the trigger until he's dead!

Get in cover + Spam powers + Spam bullets = Win
I don't know if it's just me but he always acts like an idiot. Staying still in air so I can hit him but he doesn't do much of anything or or hits the cover or is jumping from wall to wall in same routine rarely even trying to attack. Benezia actually requires some sort of strategy
