I agree with Koorah, I recommend trying out the classes in multiplayer if you're unsure of what you want to play. The combat between DAO and DA2 was vastly different between the Warriors in both games, so I don't think my knowledge considering that will help you. From what I've seen of DA3's combat in the trailers, it looks like all the classes are going to be a lot more interesting combat wise (fingers crossed) than they were in DAO or DA2. I can't really give you good advice until I try the DA3 version of the classes, so yeah multiplayer is the best to try them out in short.
What I would say is to ask yourself what it is you want your Inquisitor to do and be exactly. Keep in mind that your class has affected dialogue and story choices in both of the previous Dragon Age games and how others perceive you. If you want to go even further you can consider which party members you're going to want in your party, and think which class would be best for you to choose to compliment that party choice. Don't forget you can switch between controlling the other members actively, so you can still play as the other classes just as different characters.
