Specialization information has been released (hooray http://dragonage.wik...ns_(Inquisition)). Blood Magic is officially gone (aww, but we hugged it out and discussed it here:
http://forum.bioware...ion/?p=17378010 )
Can substitutes exist for a few combat mechanics?
Ex: Perhaps the Riftmage could have some sort of confusion spell?
The spirits in the fade imitate objects and what they see in the mortal world.
Maybe the Rift Mage can, "pulling matter from the Fade", warping their vision drawing the enemies into a confused state. Whispers from the fade drive enemies to confuse allies with enemies. (alternatively, the fade is connected to dreams.)
Or: Necromancer:
"Putting the fear of death" into their enemies, they cause them to fight amongst themselves in shear terror.
Life Drain
Rift Mage
( a little help here? Lol)
...Exploiting the Veil, the mage pushes the life-force on enemies through to the Fade, while drawing sustenance in the exchange (... sounds like a broker lol) (mages manipulate the fade. Spirit healers use spirits. Creation uses the Fade, but how?)
Necromancer
Death to life and life from death. The necromancer draws life from an enemies to heal wounds.
Better explanations would be appreciated
