Hello all.

So out of the previous ME composers, who do you think should compose the music of the next Mass Effect? and why?

or do you think Mass Effect should get a new composer? if the answer is yes, which one do you think is best suited for the task?

Composers who contributed in Mass Effect trilogy are:
1. Jimmy Hinson
2. David Kates
3. Sam Hulick
4. Brian DiDomenico
5. Sascha Dikiciyan
6. Cris Velasco
7. Christopher Lennertz
8. Clint Mansell
9. Jack Wall
10. Richard Jacques

While the composers BioWare hired were all great!, I'll definitely pick Jack Wall  & Sam Hulick because their music were the best (the epic electronic sci fi feel), specially Jack Wall's work in Mass Effect 1 :crying:

 Wards by: Jack Wall

The Presidium by: Jack Wall

And of course Vigil .

Although I think Sam Hulick would be best suited as the main composer I'd love to see Jesper Kyd compose a few tracks. He's done some great work for Assassin's Creed and Borderlands.

Most of his work isn't incredibly sci-fi, but Kyd really knows how to make quality music.

Not gonna link it, sorry, Internet is horrible...

But, I think everyone knows it, Jack Wall... Yeah, Mass Effect 3 had lovely moments with Sam Hullick music, but Jack Wall is the Best.Composer.Ever.

See, for example the whole Mass Effect 2 soundtrack, especially Suicide Mission. :o

Jack Wall and Christopher Lennertz. Overlord combat soundtrack is one of the best action soundtracks I've ever heard!

I hope they keep the composers from Mass Effect 3. That soundtrack was just phenomal and as far as I'm concerned light years beyond the previous work (except for Galaxy map ofc).

Obviously Jack Wall should return. "Vigil", "Noveria" and "Suicide Mission" should make that clear.

If they want to hire someone new: Zack Hemsey.

Jack Wall, Sam Hullick, Cris Velasco. Keep Clint away. I'd rather not have another grimdark scifi game. ME2 struck the perfect balance in terms of tone and atmosphere.

%100 agree, this is actually one of the reasons why I prefer the previous Mass Effects over the 3rd one. The setting  ME3 went to isn't really for Mass Effect games, but that doesn't mean it wasn't great! :)
