We don't know the entire cast that well yet in Inquisition, but none of them strike me as lunatic fighting for their cause and ours type. Its kind of hard to describe what im looking for in such a character. I mean of course my own vision is a mix of the Joker (of Batman fame) and if at all possible renegade Commander Shepard (Femshep or Sheploo)

 

On one hand you have to walk a careful line with this guy or girl, because they'd be unpredictable and never trusty worthy but I could see a case for having them with you as oppose to against you. On the other hand this would be the type of character I wouldn't mind butting heads with over everything, assuming im not playing a like minded inquisitor.

DA2 exceeded Dragon Age's crazy budget.   They won't have enough spare crazy for another bonkers companion until at least the fifth game.

We had plenty... And nope, we don't need more of them. Also, every companion in DAI has a goal, a cause if you want. As for crazy, well, only time will show.

Anders wasn't crazy in my opinion he was just Angry,  also Justice/Vengeance. I'm thinking more demented than anarchist.

I'll pass, unless they are 100% optional.  Though I still wouldn't want the devs wasting resources on a character like that.  Just my opinions, of course...

If you mean "crazy" as in mentally unstable...no...that's either going to be messy (Anders) or just offensive, tbh. 

 

If you mean like a neurotic Chaotic Evil or Trickster or other such character....I am totally down with that.

Anders was a special sort of tragic crazy. Let's not have one like him before Dragon age: The continuation, hm?

I am obligated to ask, must we use the word "crazy" and link it to mental instability? 

 

Anders had his reasons for his behavior (having a spirit inside of him), but a companion who is actually mentally unstable could come off offensive as veeia said. There are enough inaccurate and damaging portrayals of mental illness existing in the media already.
