- Wow, every day there appears to be a new problem amassing from the nothing but sheer laziness on behalf of the developing team. First it was the completely unimproved character-customisation system (complete with the same old plastic hair textures/facial hair and generic colours that look they were developed in Microsoft Paint). Now I've learned that I'll have to get up every few hours to swap between the discs! Fantastic. Is this the 21st century? Or are we still living in the era of PS1 or DreamCast games? Come on, the last game that I had to switch multiple discs between was Shenmue.

Had BioWare just done their job properly and released the game for the PS3 like they rightfully should have, this wouldn't be a problem. Again, Mass Effect 2 helps demonstrate why Blu-Ray is so important but we know that, like the character-customisation system, BioWare just neglects all that in favour of Cruise Control and Cheeto's, pandering to the sycophants. The game is a perfect example of how BioWare can be over-rated and flat-out lazy.

Wow, really? Poor you, you have to get off your bum to switch the discs.

Take your fanboyism elsewhere.

Really? Getting up and switching out discs is that big of a deal? Oh, and in before the console war.

I reiterate from the previous waaah-thread: A while back multiple disks was a selling point, not a detractor.

If getting off your ass to change disks is that physically intensive for you, perhaps you may consider taking a break from gaming? Trolling, no matter how much people may try to sell it to you, does not burn calories.

I happen to own a 60" 1080P tv, and to even think about playing ME2, or any game on it, has me wretching!

Oh the horror! Console players have to stand up...TWICE!

You don't need to switch disks that often, and it's ridiculous to switch to PC unless you have ME for both, just because of the disk swap. Seriously.

I don't like swapping discs because my xbox makes really pissed off sounds if I open the tray during gameplay. Lost Oddysey disc switching was harrowing.

You do know that you can install both discs on the 360 as well, right?

No? Well, feel free to continue knee-jerking, then.

I think that won't work, that only helps to make the loading stuff a bit better, but you will still need the CD to play, it acts like a key to play

Not all console users are this retarded, I'll gladly get up and switch discs. It's at most two meters away from my couch.

Hehehehe.....wait.....you mean I have to get off the couch on my two feet for a WHOLE 20 seconds every 20+ hours of gameplay to swap a disc? Oh the HORROR!! How dare they?! This is a complete and unforgivable outrage!!!

jk....lol

But still, it's ****ing funny to read someone's severe laziness to get up to swap disc. You know, I think it's a good thing BW is doing that because people like you need to get off your ass and do SOMETHING

Does anyone else find it ironic that someone would criticize Bioware by calling them lazy, yet at the same time that person takes issue with physically having to get up and swap out a DVD a whopping 2 times? Just something to think about...

To OP's defense... they could be missing 1 or 2 legs, in which case disc switching would be a hassle. But under any other circumstances that's the laziest thing I've read all day.

Dude my gaming chair is 3 feet away from my console. I don't even have to get up, I could just scoot my chair over change disc and scoot back. I'm sure if you're not in my same situation, it will be that much more cumbersome.

But then their chair would have wheels on it. No exuse.
