This might be the wrong forum to post this in, but I'd like to know what other players will be doing because, as is the case with any multiplayer experience, the bigger the playerbase at any given time, the better.

Basically, I'm weighing whether I should finish up a singleplayer run before jumping into multiplayer with a fairly decent idea of how the mechanics operate, or whether I should start off with multiplayer. I'm tempted to start with multiplayer, because while the singleplayer game is a more or less static experience that doesn't really change based on when I play it, multiplayer will (hopefully, if it's deep enough) have a constantly shifting meta.

In the end, the decision will be one that I have to make once I actually have the game in my hands, but i'd like to know if you guys have plans already.

I'll be playing through SP first, unless friends pull me into MP games.

After a few sp playthroughs, if there's a lot of good remarks about mp, I might try it just to say I did.

Focus on SP. Planning on looking at MP when the first of the weekend ops are available.

Hopefully that doesn't happen on the first weekend of release- give people a chance to settle in and see what's what first.

I'll jump into MP to see how things have changed, then jump into the SP. Then go back to ME3:MP until we get Mabari.

I am buying this game for the MP.  I said I was done with the series after DA2.  Then I started to hear rumblings about a MP in it....and seeing how much i LOVED the MP of ME3 Here I am.  They confirmed it and my pre order is in.  I am very happy I can play a Qunari as well obviously, but I won't be touching the SP for quite some time.  Obviously I LOVED the Arishok in DA2, but aside from that......

I am not the type of person who cares about spoilers so playing it later won't effect me.

I think I will start with mp first, i think it will make the sp combat easier. I can then crank the difficulty on sp. at least that's how it felt about me3.
Although if there are not that many people playin mp then it might be pointless (at the beginning.

I will certainly start with the MP.

Then I might get sucked back into the DA world and play the SP, but I haven´t touched DA:O in years, and played 2 hours into DA2.

Definitely SP first, Bioware games have always been about the stories first for me.

Then again... my ME3 MP playtime is starting to catch up with my SP playtime since my desire to replay the SP version hasn't been all that strong...

I will start out a single player game to get a handle on the mechanics and then play them both.  I tend to have a relatively short playing span for any type of games so I can easily see myself play an hour of sp then an hour of mp etc.

I will focus on SP for a good chunk of time after release unless I'm badgered by friends to play some DAMP.

Probably get through a good chunk of SP before I even attempt MP. Or I'll finish SP entirely first since I'd like to try MP with a friend of mine, so I might have to wait for them. I'll be excited regardless since DAMP is everything I wanted in a multiplayer; it's like a baby MMO, and I dig that.

Sp just because that's the main reason for buying this game I might try mp to see how it plays out abit after I at least get abit in to the story of the game

I will try to get some SP in first before MP; though I may browse the MP menus and character selection screens; unless my friends are all present and ready to play.

Ideally, I want to play SP (at least) up until the point that the Inquisition is (re)founded with the PC in charge. That way I can role-play that MP is working chronologically in line with my primary SP save.

I really hope that we get a playable Mabari class in DAMP for two major reasons:

1. Mabari are awesome.

2. If we can get playable non-humanoid characters, then things like playable Rachni and Elcor in the next ME game aren't so far fetched.

Start with SP playthrough until I get a good sense of Skyhold, maybe see the MP agents hanging around. Then I'll jump into MP, maybe about 30-40% of the time, now that I can put it in context of the story.

After playing DAMP, I can not stop thinking about it. I am now more interesting in the multiplayer than the SP. But I think I will have to do the SP first because I believe the MP will actually take up more time and have a longer lifespan.

This might be the first Bioware game I buy primarily for MP. MEMP has spoilt me.

I'm not sure really.

I get the feeling that whichever one I pick will get me hooked and I won't touch the other one for quite some time.
