At the least I want to get fairly far into single player before I touch multiplayer. Though there's a good chance peer pressure from my friends will change that.

I've been holding off until DAI comes out to get PS+. Since release is so close to black Friday now I'll just wait the extra week to get PS+ on the cheap.

So, single player first. But I'm sure I'll love MP once I jump in. Was a big fan of ME3's MP.

Once SP is finished a few times over I'll give it a whirl. Hopefully it'll be as good, if not better, than ME3 MP.

Ahh all the good memories, except for the rage.

I feel like I'm going to be in the "single player first" camp. I want to feel like I'm really immersed in the basic storyline and have a handle on the combat mechanics before I try out multiplayer. That said, once I feel like I'm at the part of the single player campaign where the multiplayer missions are theoretically taking place, I think I'll be jumping back and forth every so often since I think that would enhance the single player experience and familiarize me with the other talents and spells I'm not using for my first Inquisitor. I love that it doesn't affect SP but I do think it would be neat if there were some little bonus bits of dialogue in SP about some of the MP characters or missions.

I'll probably play the first couple of missions for the main story - maybe some side stuff. Then get into the MP and keep switching between the two thereafter.

I want to run around as the keeper putting up barriers on everyone something fierce.

I plan to play it early. It may be just my paranoia talking, but if they do things the way ME3MP did it, I want to start early before they make a bunch of weird unbalanced crap.

ill jump right in.

I waited with me3mp and they had nerfed a few things and limited consumables by the time I started.

I will probably play the SP first for a while to get used to the new mechanics, then MP for a while as a full on Mage killing all sorts of undead!

Yes.

I regret not jumping into the MP with ME3 sooner and even though I'm buying it for the single player campaign, I'm interested to see what the MP is like in comparison with ME3's attempt.  I was very pleasantly surprised by the former, so I have high hopes for this aspect of the game.

I will likely fire up MP first. It will give me a sense of the controls etc. I plan on playing my first game of the SP on hard, and I want to be good at combat right away. I remember how I did ME3 SP a number of times before I ever tried the MP. (You did not need to do MP in order to complete the game) When I tried MP, I was hooked. Much later after Gold Solos and all that I tried ME3 on the Hardcore setting, and it was so much easier.

I want to build on that this time around. Of course, there is no pause or tactical camera in MP, but the core mechanics are the same.

I'll start with SP, but I suspect I'll give MP a go within a week or so of release.

How true that is. ME3 MP made everything easy. Insanity became a cake walk. If it's been awhile since I played, I find myself checking the difficulty to make sure it didn't reset to normal. I can imagine DA MP being pretty darn difficult. Can't wait to beef up!

I'll probably start with SP for a bit to get a feel for the combat without having to worry about teammates, and then switch back and forth a lot.  I'm guessing mostly SP during the week, then MP on weekends, but who knows.  I'm sure I'll be playing both though.

Allright, this have gone long enough... You're all gonna do both SP and MP at the same time or you're gonna regret it. There, I said it!

With ME3, I played the SP first as I wasn't interested at all in MP. I missed the first 2 weekend challenges and I still regret it to this day because MP was awesome and it's the only thing missing from my manifest...

So if you're at all completionist, you're gonna do both SP and MP.

When the game releases at midnight i'll probably play an hour or two of multiplayer. I just know that if i jump right into singeplayer i either won't be able to sleep, or just won't sleep and play for the whole night.

Saving the start of my SP for the next morning :)

No. I will finish a very thorough run-through of SP first.

You have a good point there.  Maybe I shouldn't start with SP after all.  Canada gets the release on the 18th right?  A Tuesday.  Yeah, I really shouldn't start SP that night...

I wish I had played ME3 MP when the matchmaking was full of players. I recently started playing it a lot but barely anyone else plays pick up games.

I might play some MP first to take different classes for a test drive before committing to the long campaign. Then I'll probably split it up between the two.

I was hoping they would give early access to DA MP, but if they don't I will definitely play the SP first.

I just want to play so bad. I want customize SO bad! Ugh...I want to damp...so bad. The wait. The wait is real.

I was kind of expecting a MP stream today. No such luck :(

I remember when the leaked ME3 MP video was released. I downloaded it from YouTube (before it was blocked) and watched it on my Xbox with my controller in hand... :'( I was kind of hoping to do it again this time (even though I'm going to get a PS4...stupid Xbox hardware quality).

Yeah i think i will be rocking MP first.

I want to try out the necromancer, keeper and alchemist.

If i enjoy alchemist, i know for sure i will be making a tempest inquisitor.
