And Stim Packs are nice in generally all classes.

First thing I thought of was Stim Packs, but that's already been taken.

 

I guess Submission Net would still do its job at level 1? I haven't actually tried but it works fine with only 3 points in it.

Dont spec into Tactical Arrows. Just max one point into Cryo Drain and you'll be fine.

Although I wouldn't try to pick one of the many good suggestions as the best, I think that maybe the right perspective is to see how much relative value one gets from the power with the investment of a single point.

 

For example, frag grenades are pretty awesome at rank 1, whereas lift grenades are meh until a few ranks higher.

 

So I think that among the best would be Barrier and Tech Armor, because they give a huge damage reduction - like 1/3 - with only a single point invested. Bloodlust is also pretty good with only a single point, relative to its higher levels.

Barrier works pretty well too, even at rank 1:

 

 

Tech Armor worked okay, but cooldowns took a hit. Still though, just get in real close, and - tech armor!

It's pure awesome when you start using like repair matrix and stuff. You can summon heavy weapons on host too for lolz.

There's 3 types of Tech Armor, but two of them have no removal commands.

There are a few other powers I can think about which already do a great job at rank 1 : Tech Armor, Blade Armor, Barrier, Submission Net, Stasis, Hex Shield and Decoy.

Anyway OP, I wonder if a Juggernaut with 1 point in Biotic Charge , or 1 Point in Shadow Strike would work... hmmmm hmmmm

I'll try it tomorrow unless Excella beats me to it. Sadly not every power is usable on every kit. I couldn't get Annihilation Field to go on the Worlard, nor could I put Bloodlust on the GI. AF does go on the GI though.

Agreed, but in this case I think that you need Throw or Warp at rank 6 to OSK mooks like cannibals.

 

Generally most powers you have permanently on you are pretty good at rank 1. Siege Pulse is maybe an exception, the damage reduction rank 5 makes a big difference. For Biotic Orbs, I hesitated to put it in my list above. It's already good at rank one but the debuff at rank 6 is cool.
