DO you U/U or do you choose maps? Or more markedly, what ratio do you do?

 

I'm think I'm at around 95% U/U. Might start changing that.

U/U mostly all of the time, but for Platinum, I search for the common Platinum settings.

Map - I search unknown. If it's preset, I am fine with it.

Enemy - I search for collector lobbies now-a-days.

 

So, U/Collectors/Gold most of the time. If that isn't successful, I search for U/U/G and quit cerberus games except under certain special circumstances. 

 

When I host though, it's always U/Collectors/Gold.

I'm probably in the minority, but when I host, I preset. I'm on (my second) ps3, and after 1100+ hours I'm just not interested in dealing with the frame rate and memory leak issues with half the maps at this point. Unfortunately, I also largely avoid collectors these days as well (since they're just as bad as the hazard maps) which is a shame because collectors are alot of fun.

I always search U/U but if hosting, because ps3, I normally set one or the other but never both. Hazard maps or Collectors alone usually goes without issue(exceptions being Ghost or refusing to nuke praetorians on targets waves), but rolling both means you will practically never make extract without encountering memory leak/ framerate issues.

Mostly preset maps, myself. I don't have much time to play - around 1 hour per day - so, I want to get the most out of it. Why would I frustrate myself with being a Vanguard on Condor/Geth/platinum? I play this game to relax, not to show off. So, it has to do with your mindset. When someone else hosts, I don't mind U/U. I will just pick a kit that I'm very comfortable with.

Depends of my mood. Sometimes I preset, sometimes I go U/U.

 

I just don't see the drama on presets (less point bonuses, whooo! gonna commit suicide for that ), and you can always leave that preset lobby if you don't like it.

I leave every preset Gold match unless I recognise someone in the lobby.

 

I'm a bit more tolerant of presets in Platinum games since finding a decent U/U lobby is near impossible.

U/U unless someone in the lobby needs waves on a particular map.

u/u/g or u/u/p 99% of the time. I only set the map when either me or a friend needs some waves to finish off map mastery.

U/U all the time. but I don't mind preset lobbies. I often left this kind of lobby when I promoted (because U/U = more XP) but I no longer promote so...

U/U/G nearly all the time - sometimes U/Collectors/G if I'm getting sick of landing in pre-set lobbies I don't want to play; that's pretty much guaranteed to get you a U/U/G game as nobody (except maybe TheNightSlasher) presets the lobby to Collectors.

 

 

As an aside, Collectors are still my favourite faction to fight but variety, as they say, is the spice of life - I prefer NOT knowing what's coming.

If it was up to me, I'd mostly preset. But since it's not, and since people usually want U, I do that too. Enemy is a bigger matter.

When I was trying to get the Nomad banner, I ended up picking specific maps for Gold waves, but I tend to play U/U. If I feel like getting the over-cover grab challenge finished sooner rather than later I might start picking locations with a lot of places I can do that.

I almost exclusively pug plat. I search U/U, but I'll play any map except Rio.

Can't really be too choosy anymore...
