Bioware or someone out there, could we get a list of the armors available in game? Not those that come from outside sources (I.E. Preorder bonuses) but those that come vanilla with the game. I like options.

If you look on the main homepage for Mass Effect 2 under universe you can see all the armor available in arsenal

Those are armors available via preorder bonuses and such. There are more, I've personally encountered one nigh full set (Though I am yet to complete it.)

I'm curious to know what I am missing. I either am very poor at searching all the main areas, or there simply isn't a great diversity of armor in-game.

There is less diversity thane ME1. Not one of my favorite changes, but not a gamebreaker.

Well we know there is the N7 armor and there is also Cerberus Assault Armor (there was a forum topic on it some time ago).

Cerberus Assault Armor? Hmmm. Worth a look.

Kain, I'd respectfully disagree. I'd call it -more- diversity if all the armor sets are simply retextures, as they were in ME1. ME2's armor appearances are so far quite distinct from one another. I'm looking forward to finding more. (I hold a great desire to appear as hulking and tank-like as possible, without using the Terminus Armor. 'Cause I dun wanna. :P )

The Official Strategy Guide by Prima is likely to have the info you want. Might I recommend you buy one? I have a CE of the Official Strategy Guide on preorder to ship with the game.

By diverse, I mean by name and stats. otherwise, yeah it was mostly recolors.

By that logic, we have the same amount of diversity. :P

That depends on how you define diversity. Considering the fact you can change appearance at whim with many options including material, color, patterns, structure, etc, I like to think there's more effective diversity and actually more chance to create an armor you like in ME2 than finding an armor you like in ME1.
Not to mention the fact casual wear is expanded.

As OCD as it may sound, I stopped picking up guides a few years ago. They indicate/quantify the amount of things present overall in-game, something that angers/terrifies me. I'd rather not do this simply to determine how to 'look best.' May I kindly request that any 'list' of armor available in-game be posted up/PM'd upon receiving this guide?

If you look at all the pre-release game trailers it seems as if only Shepard actually changes his armor. It doesn't look like anyone else in your squad is ever wearing anything different. Am I wrong?
