I mentioned this in another thread not about this problem, but it's irritating me, so I figured I'd start a new one.

In none of my new game plus playthroughs on ps3 have weapons, including advanced training weapons, heavy weapons, and any found on missions, carried over. I am sure I am selecting to import an me2 character, and I get the usual credits and resources along with starting at level 30. It's irking me. Any one else ever hear of this?

You only carry over unlocked Heavy Weapons in Mass Effect 2's ng+. I don't know why that isn't happening for you.

At the very least I am sure I'm supposed to get my advanced training weapon, because everyone complains they don't get to choose a new one on the collector ship in new game plus. Yet my vanguard lacks his claymore. When I get to the ship I always get to choose it again or something different.

Yes you are supposed to keep your advanced weapon training in NG+.

 

I saw some threads where people on PS3 were having that problem.  I think it might have been an issue for xbox before the first patch.  Always worked for me on PC (Steam).

What version are you running, is it fully patched?

i never keep mine either.  I have to get to the collector ship as well...PS3

Xbox here. My weapons carried over. I have the Widow and the Geth Pulse Rifle as well as all the heavy weapons such as the Cain and Particle Rifle. All the armor pieces I bought carried over as well.

They carry over on the PC but don't have access to them until after Freedom's Progress
