Character creation looking good so far.  But how about the ability to save it or save different versions as you gradually changes stuff?  God. How much I hated it in most character creations that when you accidentally click something it go back to default or whatever and you have to start all over again after spending a lot amount of time tweaking your character.

Yeah.  That would be a nice option to have to be able to tweak your character appearances during the game.

Lol, the male inquisitor images remind me of my first Hawke...but with less hair.

 

As for the new area, what with creating an inquisitor from scratch, i'm wondering if theyll then use that Inqui in the area demo. it'd be awesome if they showed the beginning

Actually, while I'm excited to see all the racial options, what I really hope is that they'll show the skin tones available, especially darker skin, and how they'll actually look on the Inquisitor.  

 

 

Yea I would like to see this too. I want to be able to be the same color as Vivienne. Mass Effect 2 had Jacob, but you couldn't choose his skin color. Crossing my fingers for no "red" black people. 

 

All of this. DAO did not handle dark skin tones well, go too dark and they get all splotchy. DA2 fared better, but still fell short. Adding a faint red or grey tint to one tone does not make for variation. I'm also hoping they'll show a wide variety of facial features and not just brick jaws and roman noses - though this seems likely since all the NPCs look vastly different.

Ooohh I really hope there's a lot of overlap of hairstyles between male and female PCs. The worst thing is seeing a hairstyle you want on your female PC that only the males get and vice versa. ):

 

Really happy to hear there's undercut styles for both though. Can't wait to see what they look like.

During the presentation, Mike Laidlaw asked Cameron Lee if we were going to hear the voices in the character creator demo he was showing right then, and Cameron's response was in the order of "I don't think so - I think I cut them out."

 

So I don't know if he cut them out of the entire demo that will stream tomorrow, or just the excerpt he was showing at the Expo today.

 

My impression of the character creator shown today was this:

Not the most detailed I've ever seen, but vastly better than their recent games, and probably easier to use that the super detailed ones that get shown on YouTube (like Black Desert).
