DAO - Around 20 times at this point.
DA2 - 3 times.

I think...6 times, or something like that, for Origins. Most of the completed playthroughs were with the same character, but I played through the first hour or so of every origin.
DA2 was quite a bit less. Maybe 2 or 3.
Haha, BioWare games are the ONLY games I ever replay. Other games just aren't worth it, imo, but BioWare games have such depth. You can roleplay to your heart's content. Also, I take breaks in between playthroughs. Origins has been out for 5 years now and DA2 for 3 years so there's been plenty of time for lots of playthroughs. XD
I've found a lot of Japanese games to be very replayable.
Ninja Gaiden 2 I beat at least 10 times, same with Resident Evil 4... and holy crap, the MGS series... ![]()
Those are games I just keep on playing.
There are a lot of ways the Landsmeet can turn out, for instance. And if you take a different group of companions, you get different companion banter and interjections into conversations (I just discovered that Shale is really rude to Isolde if Alistair isn't in the party, for instance). You end up with different combinations of armies during the battle of Denerim, depending on who you sided with along the way. Do you live or die or does someone else die at the end? So yes, while the basic plot ends with someone jamming a sword through the archdemon's head, the story along the way can be quite different. People get different things out of playing games; I also reread good books several times too, because they ARE good. Truthfully, I'd have stopped with my Brosca run most likely which would have given me one of each origin. But I haven't seen any new games that look interesting enough from a story perspective that I'd want to play them for at least 4 months, which is a minimum for me to feel a game is worth my time.
I know about the Landsmeet and companions banter. I guess that different banter and Lanndsmeet (whitch is at the end of the game) outcomes, for me, just aren't enough to warant going through another whole playhtrough. Or maybe I just get bored easily ![]()
Most of the DAO were variations of the Human Male Noble from back when I self-inserted.
I have around 5 non-human-male-noble playthroughs. The female dalish elf (sacrifice) was my favorite among those 5.
I actually played DA2 more than DAO come to think of it. Lost count though.

I think it's all in how you play. Even if you don't complete the whole game, I would suggest running through all the different origins at the very least. You learn a lot of different things and it can really shape the way you play. For example, as a noble dwarf, you meet a casteless coming out of Bhelen's room and you can scorn her or whatever. As a DN, I could never put Bhelen on the throne after what he did. Then, when you play as a dwarven commoner, you learn the casteless in Bhelen's room was actually Rica, who is your sister. As a DC, I knew what Bhelen did, but my character wanted a better life for her sister and the other casteless they lived with, so put him on the throne anyway. It's an interesting experience, seeing all the different origins and how each one can change your mind about certain decisions.

The Human noble is really the only one that has virtually no additional content after the Origin. Both of the dwarven ones have some significant extra content when you return to Orzammar (down to such minor things as the DN can't get served in the tavern anymore, but now the DC can).

Everyone has different ways they play and different things they get out of games. One of my daughters seems to be playing a new game every couple of weeks, though she does stick to or return to a few favorites from time to time. But she admits a lot of the games she tries really aren't that great, while I want what I feel is quality over quantity. That doesn't mean I see anything wrong with her tastes though (especially since it's not my business how she spends her money
), we're just different.
3 Times each I think.
Origins was the same playthrough due to me losing the save somehow
Male Human Noble, James Cousland, Romanced Leliana, A top bloke
DA2 was more varied though.
Male Warrior, Isablea, Diplomatic
Male Mage, Merril, Sarcastic
Female Mage, Isabela, Sarcastic < She'll be the Hawke going through to Inquisition
Even if you don't complete the whole game, I would suggest running through all the different origins at the very least.
I already did that.

I do too. Unfortunetly finding games with good and engageing stores is getting harder and harder.
Edit: Double post, sorry.
DA:O: about 25
DA2: about 7 or 8
DAO: 15-20, I think.
DA2: Around 10. I have some unfinished ones, the repeated dungeons tired me out.
DAO four times although I only have one full save left
DA2 eight but again only have five saves left,
both losses due to hard drive crash which wiped out my saves
I have all my saves left except for my very first DA:O character, Nymeria Mahariel, who did the US. I'm sad I somehow lost her save. ![]()
3
Origins: 15+
DAII: 5+
This.
Ummm, I've lost count on DAO. DA2-3.
7 for DA:O and Awakening.
2 for DA2.
DA:O
Started.... about 30 i think
Finished.... probably about 15
DA2
Started.... about 25
Finished.... around 10 i would say....
I could never bring myself to finish a dwarven playthrough on origins, idk why i just lost interest. Usually lost interest in da2 around act 2, and quit for about 3 months.... then i would go back and say screw it lets start over and delete the character and redo it....
I did all origins at least once except for Human noble, because I made a male and a female one.
The same goes for the mage origin with a female human one and a elve mage one.
But this description only goes for the PC version and I don't remember my party on Xbox 360 and on PS3 where I obtain the platinum trophy.
About DA 2, 6 at least on PC too. One for every class with both gender
I also did the game three times on PS3 and I obtain the platinum trophy again
Did not played on X360 because the console suffered the RROD at this time and was in reparation
But I lost most of my saves that's why I'm glad the Dragon age Keep exists
DAO: 1 complete (though I played every combination of character introduction storylines. Best intros ever! Started a mage but didn't continue beyond the first stage.
DA2: 0 - couldn't bring myself to finish it - it got boring at some point and the story didn't seem to progress at all.
I only have 1 complete DAO playthrough and I haven't done awakening yet.
I have beaten DA2 twice.
This is why I need the Keep. I would do more complete playthroughs if I had enough time to do them.
DAO - 25 at least on 360 (at least two complete wipes of saves) and 8 on PC
DA2 - 4 times for Isabela
