Will DA:I limit you the amount of saves you can have like it's predecessors? I really hope it doesn't.

Is that a console thing? Don't remember a save limit.

On the PS3 you could only have 4 Wardens at a time.

I've always played on the 360 and could never have more than so many saved characters at any given time.

Four or five I think.

I'm sure I saw one tweet from a tester that mentioned like 100 saves

I'm afraid I don't know that, but I could fire up my PS3 and create a few more Hawkes to see if that's the case if you'd like.

I think for DA2 on 360, it was 9 or 10. Every time I wanted to create a new one, I had to move one of my others up to the cloud.

I don't remember what it was for DAO or DAA.

I hope we don't have a limit. I'm a habitual character creator, though, so...yeah. (I have 23 characters in Skyrim). :D

I'm hoping for at least 10 save files. If the game is as big as they say, I don't think even 5 would cut it (unless they're employing all that cloud stuff?).

I had nothing better to do so I checked anyway, it's a ten Hawkes limit for DAII on the PS3.

It isn't saves it is characters that is the limit for the consoles. I could only have X wardens or hawkes. The figure was around 8 or 10 IIRC and was low enough that between myself and my wife we bumped up against many, many times.

360 had a maximum of 10 characters and 32 saves per character.

Yeah, this is a console thing. Only having 4 or 5 Warden saves was lame, but I think it was upped to 10 in DA2, and that was enough for me.

At least on the PC it does t matter because you can just move the save data to a new folder.

True but we don't have any limits anyway (on the numbers of characters we can create I mean).

ME's stupid 50 save limit was annoying.

Couldn't you copy a save file onto a flash drive then delete it from the hard drive then when you want it again reload it?  Never tried it, but I don't see why it wouldn't work, or am I completely clueless as usual?
