Maybe on the Adept I can see it. Maybe (but you should just use less wussy weapons- just sayin'). But on the DV it makes absolutely no sense to me- any enemy you can pull, you should be charging anyways (shield recharge, power synergy boost). And the speed boost is nothing to scoff at- since (I assume) drell have the highest base speed in the game, they get more mileage out of that than anyone else, and its definitely noticeable. Now, obviously there are a million ways to play each kit, but the way I and alot of others play the DA/DV (using a shotgun and carpet-bombing the **** out of anything that moves, then zipping off to the next spawn) sort of makes it a non-decision- speed is hugely useful and essential to the aggressive playstyle, weapon damage is useful, and Pull is... well, sort of useless (since you have other ways to kill enemies just as quickly, and your cooldowns can be better spent on other powers i.e reave and biotic charge)*
(only on the drell- I pretty much always spec at least 3 or 4 ranks in Pull on the Justicar)
Well, there's not really a huge difference to how we play the kits. My build is just more versatile. I, too, nuke spawns with Cluster Nades, setting off combos and such. I can wipe spawns just as fast, and Pull a couple of enemies that are not in the spawn along the way. You call an Acolyte a "wussy weapon," which I get since it doesn't have the same awesomeness as a Claymore, but it's bloody effective. As I said, when I'm using a shotgun/Talon pistol, I spec out of Pull...because of the cooldown issues. On the movement speed, you should always take an Adrenaline 3 with at least 3 rank in Fitness. This gives you a wopping 40% bonus to your movement speed already. That's already blood fast!
Yes, you get an extra 10% on rank 6...but I'd rather have an extra power. That's just personal preference. The difference of that extra 10% movement speed is more important when you want to be in the enemies' faces all the time. My build allows you to literally fight everywhere at once. I can disable all the non-boss enemies, whilst focussing my combos solely on the bosses. Which works pretty damn great, I can tell ya. Still, I can understand your position, too. I have played with builds like yours for a long time, and they are bloody great. Really high risk, high reward. I just wanted to mix it up, and see how the characters play with different builds. It just comes down to what weapons you're using.
As for the Justicar, you should max out Pull...because she has the weakest Biotic Combos of all Adepts, I believe. Therefore, you need rank 6a...if you decided to play her as an Adept. Biotic Soldier-builds are good, too, just less interesting.
