I run this build for the Justicar.

Mooks get Pull-Reave'd, or Acolyte first if shielded; armored enemies get Reave-Bubble-Reave'd. Bubble choke points, Reave enemies that run through it. You don't need all those points in fitness because Reave damage reduction, and the power damage enhances the DoT of Reave to the point where it's similar to Dark Channel in how you can kinda set it and forget it, then watch it chew enemies up.

I've also used a host of weapons with her besides the Acolyte, including the Lancer, CSMG, Harrier, Saber, Crusader, Wraith....

There was also a thread made highlighting the benefits of the Justicar with the Defensive Bubble which I used the Typhoon with once or twice. Very tanky.

I prefer a 66653 build and play here mainly as a power spammer. I use venom+warp ammo or acolyte or falcon with phasic ammo.

Strategy is quite straight forward: strip shields > pull > reave or bubble for BE on mooks.

For bosses, I just stack reave and detonate it with bubble, and use reave to detonate the warp effect of bubble.

I prefer no Pull and offensive bubble.  Get a decent gun and Warp Ammo.

I hate Acolyte themed builds.

Reave is a detenator, although it can't make tech bursts like Warp can

I would take Reave 5a. 0.25sec CD reduction isn't going to be particularly noticable

CD Reduction only matters when it comes to heavier loadout, only then does it start subtracting the cooldown by seconds and not milliseconds.

Me too, because it makes no sense to me. 66653 builds are way better for the Drells, since you'll be using Adrenaline 3 all the time anyway. So, that extra 10% from fitness can be neglected. I'd rather have a good power that will allow me to save some Grenades along the way. I'm not wasting Grenades on a single Cannibal. Lift damage will take them out, even Marauders and Captains if you use the right consumables. And Pull just makes Phantoms a priority, since it neutralizes them if you time it right.

Drell have really good passives. Adrenaline 3 does NOT make rank 6 fitness redundant. There's simply no way you're speccing out of lolcluster 'nades, or Reave/Biotic Charge (DA/DV respectively). End of story. Pull's a decently useful power, its just pointless on the Drell kits the way most people play them. Why do I need a power that only works on unprotected mooks, when one shot from my Venom/Raider/Wraith/Claymoar kills them just as fast, and I don't have to trade (a super duper awesome) fitness speed boost or good drell passives to do it?

Well, it depends on what weapons you're using. If you use the Acolyte, like myself, Pull is a far better choice than the extra weapon damage + a little bit of speed. Whenever I do use shotguns on them, I spec out of Pull. So, it has to do with how you're playing them. With my Acolyte-centered builds, I can do extremely well. Pull allows me to save Grenades on platinum, whilst ever mook dies from Lift Damage anyway. This allows me disable enemies and focus on the next enemies rather quickly. It's just a different playstyle. You should play the kits however you want. If you like Pull, don't spec out of it because most people hate it. You should do whatever you feel is right and fun for you. I'm a big fan of the Acolyte, so I'm more likely to adjust my builds to that weapon.

Build

Pull for a quick stagger on mooksvthen shoot em to death, detonating with reave when the situation arises. Bubble/Reave/shoot at choke points and bosses/large groups.

Maybe on the Adept I can see it. Maybe (but you should just use less wussy weapons- just sayin'). But on the DV it makes absolutely no sense to me- any enemy you can pull, you should be charging anyways (shield recharge, power synergy boost). And the speed boost is nothing to scoff at- since (I assume) drell have the highest base speed in the game, they get more mileage out of that than anyone else, and its definitely noticeable. Now, obviously there are a million ways to play each kit, but the way I and alot of others play the DA/DV (using a shotgun and carpet-bombing the **** out of anything that moves, then zipping off to the next spawn) sort of makes it a non-decision- speed is hugely useful and essential to the aggressive playstyle, weapon damage is useful, and Pull is... well, sort of useless (since you have other ways to kill enemies just as quickly, and your cooldowns can be better spent on other powers i.e reave and biotic charge)*

(only on the drell- I pretty much always spec at least 3 or 4 ranks in Pull on the Justicar)

Well, there's not really a huge difference to how we play the kits. My build is just more versatile. I, too, nuke spawns with Cluster Nades, setting off combos and such. I can wipe spawns just as fast, and Pull a couple of enemies that are not in the spawn along the way. You call an Acolyte a "wussy weapon," which I get since it doesn't have the same awesomeness as a Claymore, but it's bloody effective. As I said, when I'm using a shotgun/Talon pistol, I spec out of Pull...because of the cooldown issues. On the movement speed, you should always take an Adrenaline 3 with at least 3 rank in Fitness. This gives you a wopping 40% bonus to your movement speed already. That's already blood fast!

Yes, you get an extra 10% on rank 6...but I'd rather have an extra power. That's just personal preference. The difference of that extra 10% movement speed is more important when you want to be in the enemies' faces all the time. My build allows you to literally fight everywhere at once.  I can disable all the non-boss enemies, whilst focussing my combos solely on the bosses. Which works pretty damn great, I can tell ya. Still, I can understand your position, too. I have played with builds like yours for a long time, and they are bloody great. Really high risk, high reward. I just wanted to mix it up, and see how the characters play with different builds. It just comes down to what weapons you're using.

As for the Justicar, you should max out Pull...because she has the weakest Biotic Combos of all Adepts, I believe. Therefore, you need rank 6a...if you decided to play her as an Adept. Biotic Soldier-builds are good, too, just less interesting.

Last time I specced her with Pull I forgot to use it. >.<

I love the Reave/Offensive Bubble combo. I enjoyed the Arc Pistol on her.

I also recommend this playstyle OP. Arc Pistol is very brutal on this kit.

Other guns are good too like wraith, Claymore, Venom, etc. Basically heavily damaging guns.

I also tend to forget I have pull specced so now I only put 3 there.

I use a 66446 build with her.

I either play her as balls to the wall caster with the Acolyte (the only character on which I haven't retired the lolcolyte), or as a Biotic Soldier (Hornet, Hurricane, Harrier, Brophoon, etc).

Area Pull + Area Reave  for mooks and offensive bubble + reave for bosses/chokepoints. Or if it's the Bioitc Soldier, I mostly rely on Reave and Warp ammo, with the occasional pull or bubble for utility.

Agreed all the way. From my experience, this way's the most fun and effective.

Venom shotgun is great. So are other pistols like the Carnifex, Arc Pistol or the Paladin. SMGs are good, too.

Take the Mattock.

If it has to be a SMG your Collector SMG would be the best. However its magazin size is bad at Level 1...
