If you guys want to compare, here's what DAO and DA2 got in their rating descriptions:
DAO: Blood, Intense Violence, Language, Partial Nudity, Sexual Content
DA2: Blood and Gore, Language, Sexual content, Violence
DAI: Blood, Intense Violence, Nudity, Sexual content, Strong language
Seems to me that DAI will be the most mature Dragon Age game to date. Strong language now included, along with more nudity for those who wanted it. Let the debating begin
YESSSSSSSSSS!
Hopefully this will make up for the ridiculousness of DA:2s "sex scenes".
For comparisons sake, the Witcher 2 got an M for: Blood and Gore, Intense Violence, Nudity, Strong Language, Strong Sexual Content, Use of Drugs
I don't mind the lack of blood and gore, to be honest. I'm glad Bioware is finally making a more mature game.

It's sad that the lack of blood, gore, nudity, swear words, etc... means a game is not 'mature'.

they aren't directly related, but the issue soften go hand in hand. Its hard to deal with racism or violence or security/freedom without dealing with violence and such

This might not matter but technically DA2 didn't have sex scenes. They had the lead up make out and then faded to black.

Everybody talking about the nudity, but tbh it's the Strong Language thing that I'm questioning the most.
I hope we don't suddenly have characters dropping the F-bomb all over the place. I feel it would take me out of the world somehow. I mean, if we spent so long with the likes of Isabela and Oghren without hearing it, I'd presume it wasn't a cuss in common usage. It's a fantasy world, they can have their own curses and way of speaking - I don't need lots of real-world swearing to make the game seem "mature". It'd be even worse if suddenly Varric, Cullen or Leliana become pottymouths when they never were before. Hopefully BW didn't go overboard.
What's interesting is they never said "fu*k" in either of the games, but it's been used in the books.
They probably will implement more swearing, or more extreme swearing in Inquisition. I remember Dragon Age 2 had way more swearing than Origins, I was surprised.

Cant wait til fox says something lol
It will depend if it has good sales.
Edit: A fantasy game with a less known title then some of the other games they go after, isn't profitable for the actors on fox news. Nor does it work well with pushing their goals.

I didn't see it either, I only saw a rating for a game called Inquisition, and that game was released by Strategy First.

Yay mature and yay nudity! ...I hope it's something nice this time and not just more Broodmother breasts...
It could be that contortionist demon from the 'Enemies of Thedas' trailer. It's naked! With exposed butt cheeks!

It doesn't make it more mature. Implemented well, it can make a game more engaging. We don't live in a world of sunshine and daisies. Having that content actually helps connect the player to a narrative.

Actually we do live in an incredibly sterilized world that insulates us from just about every possible wrong, harm or problem. At least in comparison to a medieval setting. There's no danger a random group of bandits will raise our town, for example.

Who cares? Nudity, violence, etc. doesn't make a game mature or immature. Plenty of games have those things and feel like they have been written by 5 year olds. The fact that Witcher series (for example) shows more breasts and objectifies women in a way DA hasn't doesn't make the game more mature (arguably the opposite).
Debauchery and sexual overtones are part of the world of The Witcher. The games don't even come close to the novels in terms of these themes, and to argue it "objectifies" women is a rather shallow understanding of The Witcher series.
To suggest something is being objectified means it maintains zero purpose beyond just being "eye-candy" for the audience. On the contrary, The Witcher has produced some of the strongest female characters I have ever seen in any video game. Whether we refer to Triss, Shani, Vess, any of the Sorceresses, and most of the women characters who play a significant part in the story, the women tend to be more deadly and perceptive than a lot of their male counterparts.
Not to mention that some of these individuals, especially the sorceresses, use their sexuality to their advantage and to get what they want. The Witcher is one of the most complex and truly compelling dark-fantasy universes ever created. We are only talking about the aspects of sexuality and the strength of women. I haven't even described the elements of racism, discrimination, poverty, corruption, politics, social issues, and the various other serious elements that the games handle beautifully and depict in such a way that really makes the world seem believable and worth exploring.
Dragon Age, for all intents and purposes, doesn't even come close to matching The Witcher in terms of the mature theme and kind of storytelling CDPR provides. That being said, I love Dragon Age for what it is and BioWare doesn't need to make it darker or more imperfect for me to enjoy the franchise. DA and TW have their own strengths and weaknesses and I wouldn't change either one.

You clearly don't understand what objectification actually is as a concept. There's a real debate to be had about media that portrays a society that's sexist and whether that's good. Issues about objectification have nothing to do with this type of debate.Debauchery and sexual overtones are part of the world of The Witcher. The games don't even come close to the novels in terms of these themes, and to argue it "objectifies" women is a rather shallow understanding of The Witcher series.

Objectification is related to titilation. One good example is the old dungeon scene that CDPR removed because it sexualized torture. Another example is the lesbomancy scene.
Issues relating to actually sexist portrayals are different from issues that have to do with objectification. One example here're would be the serious problem with how CDPR portrays rape.
