Hehe, thanks, I'll do my best. I think it's just a nice way of keeping the best parts of special games alive. Also, good for jogging my memory when I have to reconstruct world states in the keep...

I actually just finished doing this a few days ago. It was pretty fun making myself try new things, but I still couldn't manage the "total jerk" playthrough. Anyway I played as: 

 

Rie Surana: Arcane Warrior, Zev romancer

 

and 

Rhion Hawke: Templar-supporting 2H warrior & Anders rivalmancer

 

I thought replaying the first 2 games would make the wait easier but IT DID NOT  . At least I remember what the side quests in the Keep are about now.

Those are cool characters! Nice work. I do hope that those 50 days (which is the least I need for these playthroughs) will actually make me calmer

 

As for the keep, there are some things I just can't remember for the life of it; but in this playthrough I can fill everything out as I go along, so that is quite cool.

If I were to design a DA challenge I would make it themed step out of your comfort zone

DA:O
Pick a sex you've never done before.
Pick a race you've never played before/pick an origin you've never played before
Pick a class you've never played before
Pick a specialization/weapon style you've never played before
Pick a romance/romance gender combo you've never played before
Pick choices you've never done, ignore whether it doesn't fit your character.
Pick companions you don't usually take.

DA2
Same as above (if applicable)
Befriended/Rival a companion if you haven't before

Alright then...pick one of the following:

 

Pick a combo that you are familar with, but play on nightmare or play one you arn't comfortable with but on hard/nightmare.
Stick with the default armor and weapons you and the companions first receive, not allowed to upgrade or change them.
Pick companions that aren't ideal for your PC the whole time (Full mage run)

Pick abilities you never used before
 

"Too easy!"
 

Pick two of those, pick more for added difficulty.

Screw the companions, do it solo. (or make them completely naked if DA:O for the lulz)

Ok Speed run it, beat DA:O in ten hours, DA2 in eight hours. Less if you feel you can do it.

Pfff I skip the fade , I have no fear of Evil!! But the greatest ennemy that even the greatest Gray Wardens cannot face...is: someoneyoushouldntname..in other words: CRASHBUG!

What is this crashbug you speak of? Is it a Darkspawn?

 

(Seriously, I dunno what crash you're talking about. My game never crashed in the Fade as far as I can remember.)

well mine did..countless of times . That's why I got the mod , because after 50times...argh..I started hating the game . It'sn't a bug as such , the game crash on my computer after every 1h of gameplay . Or less then that , when it spawn many mobs (often during darkspawn encounter) . I have looked at tips and tricks like mad , and the issue seem from the fact I cant switch the DirectX11 to 9 (which I could do with DA2 and never had any crash ever ) . As for bug , only 1 so far . In Awakening , with the elf companions . She is supposed to spawn at some point and have a cutscene..and it wont pop no matter what . So I never was able to finish Awakening due to that .

I'm going to role play her as having this view slowly and gradually change so that by the end of the game she doesn't think all humans are scum, but she still generally mistrusts humans as a rule. 

 

She's a duel-wielding rogue. Here she is:

There are severel stock armors (mage robes, actually) like this, the first one - I think - can be found in the chasind trails quest in the kokari wilds.

There you are - finding cool armor can be a challenge too. If I'm not mistaken, some of the Tevinter Robes later also look like this...

Yup. Velanna in Awakenings actually has a pretty similar robe as a starting gear.

I'm totally doing this now; decided to continue my fem Cousland run I started a while back and left off at level 8. So far she's managed to get through Shale's recruitment, Orzammar, the Brecilian Forest and the Circle Tower and is about to tackle Redcliffe.

 

I did finally discover something that I'd never seen before, though.
