I'd say mage:
- first time in Dragon Age you can be a Dalish mage!
- the rift/fade theme of the game sounds cools to be first explored with a mage.
I'm stuck between elf and qunari, but I think I'll roll elf first since that was my first origin playthrough.
First Human Male Mage then Qunari Male Warrior.
Stuck between male Qunari mage and male elven warrior.
Femele Human warrior or male Dwarf Warrior.
then Qunari Mage.
Edit: samantha traynor voice is so sexy ![]()
I am debating between an human or elf rogue atm i know what specs I already want and the look and demeanor . I may end up just flipping a coin lol

These are exactly the reasons why the Mage is in the running against my usual go-to class in DA (Rogue). ![]()
I love the melee Rogue gameplay - stealthy, backstabby goodness. But the Knight Enchanter... I miss the Arcane Warrior.. ![]()

Knight Enchanter, from the spec description and the tweets of the devs about it, seems to be really cool. I hesitate between KE and Rift mage.
Anyway, I'll stop here not to derail the topic.
I'll go Dalish mage!

Human male warrior first, specializing in two handed weapons. In fact, I will probably use the default look.
Then after that, another human male warrior, only this time weapon and shield. Default look again.(I like the default look)
And for my third, a qunari not sure what class yet. I will eventually play every race and sex for each race, but it will take a long time. This game will keep me busy for months.
Female qunari for my first 2 or 3 play through s as warrior and rouge
Female dwarf
Female human
I'll do my first playthrough as a female human/elven mage I think. I usually don't play as a mage, but I want to romance Cullen and thought this would be more romantic, since I loved the scene in the tower DA:O ...hoho ![]()

First, I'll be a male human warrior focused in a weapon & shield build. After that, I'll problaby be a male qunari warrior, but specialized in two-handed weapons.
I just love the warrior class ![]()
Female Qunari mage due to the BW team saying how much fun she is to play. Then elf thief/rogue for Josie and finally male human to romance Cass.
I'll play one of them pesky knife-ears of course. Probably a male rogue.
Female elf mage, I've wanted to play as a clan's First since forever.
A male dalish elven mage, or a female qunari warrior. I have a bunch of planned characters but those would make a lot of things interesting especially how the world will react to you and how being either will effect some things.
Not sure what spec's i'm going to choose yet.
Female Qunari mage for sure! Probably Knight Enchanter or Rift mage ![]()
I want to go with something familiar my first play through since I'm going to go in blind for my first play through. So female Dalish rogue for me.
I will play female Qunari next and I had initially thought I'd play a mage, but now that I know we can have the Reaver spec, I think it will be warrior.
1st play - human.
2nd - Qunari
3rd - Elf
Not a big fan of dwarfs
i havent decided but probally either human or elf female mage.
Most likely a female Qunari, simply because its new and never been able to play one before. However, I know myself pretty well, and my first play through is only going to come after I make about 5 or 6 characters.
Most likely I will make a character, play until you finally get into the 'game' (for DA:O this was arriving at Ostagar). Save the game, and make a new character/race and do it again. Rinse and repeat. Its usually about 5 times before I feel like I got the character I want to play through the whole game the first time.
