Boys, strawberry blonde is an easy color. It's already been in both previous character creators.
In DA2, it's the third color option. Just reddish blonde.

Part 1: The Basics
1. What is your full name?
Born: Medhia Trevelyan. Alias: Medhia Nox
2. Where and when were you born?
Ostwick, in the Chantry chapel of the Trevelyan Estate.
3. Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.)
Ludmilla Trevelyan, native Tevinter who converted to the White Chantry after marrying Lord Solomon Trevelyan. She is a cruel, zealous woman who is bombastic about her devotion, but every bit the cunning, cruel magic-less first born – only child of a Tevinter Magister who despised her for the shame she brought to their house.
Solomon happily took the sizable dowry Ludmilla’s father offered, but holds no love for the woman. He is a lecherous fiend who spends every night deep in drink and women. During the day, he is an outspoken, beloved member of the community – a devout Andrastian who condemns the wicked and upholds the righteous as examples to emulate.
4.Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like?
None born between my mother and father. One of my father’s bastards was passed off as a legitimate son after I was sent to the Circle. My mother endorses this to save face.
5. Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people.
In a filthy ruin called Andoral’s Reach. Before this, the Circle of Ostwick. I was not quick to make friends with the other members of the Circle as I was often far too lost in study.
6.What is your occupation?
Mage. Historian. Horticulturalist.
7. Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks.
Born an albino, my skin is an ashen white. My eyes, harsh and predatory, are often described as rose colored. I possess hard aquiline features, bald and above average in height.
8. To which social class do you belong?
As a mage I am afforded restriction. It hardly bothers me so long as they continue to put new books into the library and allow me to dabble in floriculture in the Circle gardens. I had zero interest in the Fraternaties until they interfered with my life and forced me into becoming a rebel.
I don’t resent them, I just think they’re imbeciles who didn’t take the time to think before acting. But I thought most of them as fairly vacuous prior to the rebellion – and I consider that a great mistake on my part. The small minded are dangerous and my naivety got me caught up in their rebellion.
9. Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses?
Being albino, I am mildly allergic to the sun. Though eyesight is often impacted, mine has not.
10. Are you right- or left-handed?
Right.
11. What does your voice sound like?
Often cold and even. Not without emotion, but when I speak others often wonder if I’d rather be circling them waiting for a moment to strike than sitting at a table drinking tea.
12. What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently?
“I’m busy.” “Not now.” “What is it?” “Can this wait?” “Fine, but this better be worth it.” “What a waste.”
13. What do you have in your pockets?
A small book of philosophical quotes, and soil remnants.
14. Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
Quirk: I arch a single brow in disdain quite often. Strange Mannerisms: I often scrawl magic theorems on anything I have in my hands at the moment – even my hands. Annoying Habits: My stoicism, asceticism and Spartan existence often leaf people feeling defensive. Other defining characteristic: my lips are thin and my mouth is also always in a disapproving scowl. My laughter, is both rare and unnerving to anyone who knows me.
Part 2: Growing Up
How would you describe your childhood in general?
Distant and mechanical. Being schooled at the estate by private tutors because of my albinism kept my life severely regimented. Being a medical oddity left me ostracized and hidden away. Sneaking out into the gardens and speaking with Bracas the dwarf gardener was a private joy.
What is your earliest memory?
My mother’s disdain.
How much schooling have you had?
Intensive. Even prior to the Circle I studied strategy, history, the sciences, philosophy, art, swordplay, horticulture, literature and mathematics.
Did you enjoy school?
Intensely. It was empowering.
Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities?
The Circle tower of Ostwick.
While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them.
First Enchanter Josephus – who wrote about a great many magical topics. Enchanter Mirdromel – who wrote about spirits and the Fade. Brother Genetivi – and Bracas the family gardener.
While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family?
Very poorly. All events were private attendance give my albinism and the embarrassment it caused. Sermons at the Chantry, holidays, feasts or any other social gathering would find me forced to my apartments under the guise of illness, study or princely pursuits.
As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A great scholar who travelled the world.
As a child, what were your favorite activities?
Studying texts, playing wargames with the sons of my father’s soldiers and gardening.
As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display?
Cunning, cruelty, independence and vindictiveness.
As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like?
Extremely unpopular, though some did play with me at the behest of their fathers. One young boy named Aldur and I in particular got along very well. He tolerated my incessant rambling about the properties of elfroot or the failed Exalted Marches against Tevinter – and he laughed at my dry humor.
When and with whom was your first kiss?
Aldur, days before I left for the Circle.
Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity?
I am.
If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today.
I was plagued with terrible nightmares that often found me awake and screaming. So frequent they became that eventually nobody responded and I would scream for what seemed like an eternity in the quiet of my room while alien voices raged in my mind.
I did not know it then, but an uncommonly powerful rage demon very nearly took possession of me. He taunted me with promises of war and victory and conquest. So much did I want control in my youth that I was nearly tempted by it.
But so much did I desire control, that it could not tear mine from me. I escaped the attack through luck and a young Templar who – through a wild array of circumstances – found me huddled in a stall bloody and shivering at the age of 11.
I left for the Circle with him that evening of my own volition.
Part 3: Past Influences
What do you consider the most important event of your life so far?
My contact with the rage demon.
Who has had the most influence on you?
My childhood friend Aldur. Though it has been 21 years, the memory of his kindness and patience bothered me at first, but then became the catalyst by which my hardest edges softened.
What do you consider your greatest achievement?
Surviving a demonic attack without being possessed.
What is your greatest regret?
Recoiling when Aldur kissed me.
What is the most evil thing you have ever done?
A particularly annoying young man named Rumauld who had entered the Circle only a month before me had taken particular interest in harassing me. It is easy to understand at 32 that he was trying to find an outlet for his own pain at being taken from his parents, but as a child I thought only to retaliate. I framed him for using blood magic and, at the age of fourteen he was dragged away by the Templars and interrogated.
This broke him so greatly that he became docile and skittish for a great many years. I was, at the time, quite proud that I had crushed a foe so completely. When it came time for his Harrowing, he was too broken to complete it and was made Tranquil.
Do you have a criminal record of any kind?
None.
When was the time you were the most frightened?
When the rage demon had nearly possessed me, closely followed by seeing Rumauld later Tranquilized.
What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you?
Several young apprentices had befriended me, but only because they could convince me to do their papers for them. Years went by before I found out that I had no friends within the Circle.
If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why?
The events that led to Rumauld’s Tranquilization.
What is your best memory?
A particularly sunny day spent with Aldur on the shores of the Waking Sea.
What is your worst memory?
Fleeing from my ancestral home in an attempt to reach the Circle tower as a rage demon threatened to overtake my body and possess me.
Part 4: Beliefs And Opinions
Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic?
Optimistic. I believe absolutely in my ability to overcome obstacles.
What is your greatest fear?
Not living up to my belief in my ability to overcome all obstacles.
What are your religious views?
I can appreciate the Chant for its beauty, Andraste for her deeds, but the Chantry itself has no real meaning to me. Their hatred of magic isn’t something that sways me to retaliation. They are a political power, corrupt and manipulative, like any other. That they claim divine truth of the Maker is simply a mechanism by which they exact that control – no more or less offensive than money, patriotism or the rule of kings and Emperors.
What are your political views?
Governments are the same Emperor in new clothes.
What are your views on sex?
I am no prude, but have next to no interest in the pursuit of sex. I do not believe the pursuit is “sinful” as much as I find it wasteful and oftentimes foolish when one finds children or diseases a bedfellow afterward.
Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable?
I have not killed, but have led someone down the path of becoming Tranquil. Killing is not an act to take lightly, and should one come to it – it should not be excused away as justified.
In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do?
Control others against their will.
Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love?
Yes.
What do you believe makes a successful life?
Knowledge, but time has rendered knowledge wanting. After three decades of acquiring every book by every Thedosian scholar – none of it has led to fulfillment. Deed slowly finds purchase as my driving goal. It is providence that finds me called to task after the peace summit is devastated.
How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)?
Brutally honest. I speak my mind about myself and others. It has left me with few allies, but there are some that appreciate candid speech and have taken a shine to me. They are likely all dead in the explosion now however.
Do you have any biases or prejudices?
Hedonists, cravens and cowards.
Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it?
Blood magic and consort with demons. Not only do I believe blood magic to be an unhealthy, corruptive force, I also believe it is used by mages whos true magic is insufficient to the task. My magic is not insufficient to the task.
Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)?
I would die for myself , and despite a great deal of sordid endeavors in my past – for anyone I considered genuinely good. It would be a refined distinction – as I consider most people just base survivalists and not good.
There is precious little truly good in the world of men – that if a person were to come along who was genuine and good – I would die to ensure their survival.
Part 5: Relationships With Others
In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how?
Distant, cold and impatient. Impatience will fade the more I get to know someone, but it doesn’t usually get above tolerance. However, my closest cohorts and anyone I admire, reveals a sort of solemn affectation. To those who are genuinely weak – compassionate and patient.
Who is the most important person in your life, and why?
Myself. I am the only one I can trust.
Who is the person you respect the most, and why?
Myself, because when I want something done right, I do it.
Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people.
What “friends” I had were killed in the recent devastation.
Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person.
None.
Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened.
Yes. After entering the Circle I met a young man named Albrecht. He had been sent from a Circle in the Anderfels to Ostwick. He was a jovial young man who never took my dour demeanor to heart and always talked me up to other despite their protests to the contrary. He had a brilliant mind and became adept at magic quickly.
He was, however, only interested in women and despite a close friendship he later transferred back to the Anderfels to take the trails to become a Grey Warden. He did not survive.
What do you look for in a potential lover?
The ability to see past my serious, distant demeanor. A man I consider better than myself. Someone who can make me laugh.
How close are you to your family?
Not at all.
Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not?
I have not.
Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help?
Actually? The Maker. Not in a sense that I would ask for some favor – but just as a dialogue to clear my head until I could get a grasp of the situation on my own.
Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why?
No.
If you died or went missing, who would miss you?
Nobody at this point.
Who is the person you despise the most, and why?
The leaders of the mage rebellion. Why? You’re probably part of the problem if you’re asking me that.
Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict?
Argue. Avoiding conflict is cowardice.
Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations?
Always. I am right. If you can prove it, you can be right sometimes too.
Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not?
I do not “like” it – though I am capable when necessary.
Do you care what others think of you?
No. Why would I?
Part 6: Likes And Dislikes
What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes?
Studying
What is your most treasured possession?
I do not treasure possessions.
What is your favorite color?
Black
What is your favorite food?
Roast pheasant, spiced potatoes and broccoli.
What, if anything, do you like to read?
Anything and everything non-fictional.
What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)?
All forms of entertainment can be rewarding –though music, poetry and art speak highest to me.
Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit?
No.
How do you spend a typical Saturday night?
In the Circle – studying while many of the other Enchanters relaxed. Now? Scraping mud off my boots, preparing a crappy soup with whatever I’ve foraged and quietly hating my fellow mages for putting me at the ass end of Thedas in a crumbling building.
What makes you laugh?
Very little.
What, if anything, shocks or offends you?
Next to nothing shocks me, but nearly everything offends me in some way. If you’re doing it, you’re probably doing it wrong. If you’re saying it – you should probably stop speaking.
What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself?
I would go out into the garden.
How do you deal with stress?
Garden
Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan?
I do not need to have a plan, but I will make a plan even in an incredibly small window.
What are your pet peeves?
People speaking , people in my presence, people demanding my attention.
Part 7: Self Images And Etc.
Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted?
I awaken at sunrise and perform mild meditations to center myself. Breakfast is leisurely as I spend some time pouring over whatever tome I am currently reading, or scrawling theorems and formula on my desk. The late morning is spent in practice in the Creation and Spirit schools.
Afternoon lunch is either in the library, or in the small Circle garden when I can garner permission followed either by a few hours of study or gardening.
Evening is spent in meditation before dinner. Dinner is held in my chambers away from others. Evenings are spent in studying non-magical endeavors or scripting my own journals.
If I choose to alter my schedule I am fine. If something else forces that schedule to change I will be impatient and agitated. Clearly – the current situation has completely dashed my daily routine in favor of hard living in a ruin.
What is your greatest strength as a person?
Diligence.
What is your greatest weakness?
Impatience.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Magic. Not because it tortures me, or because I think it bad – but because it has been the single most disruptive thing in my life. Even given my albinism I am confident in my ability to govern and become a great scholar. Now, with the rebellion, even being a scholar has been deprived of me because of mages and magic.
Are you generally introverted or extroverted?
Though I don’t speak often, when I do I speak my mind freely. I would say extroverted.
Are you generally organized or messy?
Messy – but don’t touch my mess. I know where everything is.
Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at.
Very Good:
1. Magic
2. Strategy
3. Self-Control
Very Bad:
1. Empathy for those I think should be capable.
2. Tolerance for those who should be capable but aren’t.
3. Tolerance for mistakes – especially my own.
Do you like yourself?
Yes, immensely. I believe firmly that I have faced and overcome a great many obstacles head on.
What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...)
I was thrust into a new life, and new opportunities, by the devastation at the peace summit.
What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime?
Now? To build the Inquisition into a powerful institution.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Now? In Haven leading the Inquisition unless someone else can provide me with a better place for a centralized power structure. From there – leading the Inquisition throughout Thedas.
If you could choose, how would you want to die?
Peacefully, with Albrecht by my side.
If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left.
1. Do whatever I could to prepare the few troops we currently have.
2. Study up on whatever these few hours could muster against the Breach.
3. Storm the Breach.
What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death?
Creating an institution that not only closed the Breach, but is a new power in the world.
What three words best describe your personality?
Predatory, Brilliant, Callous
What three words would others probably use to describe you?
Cruel, Manipulative, Inspiring.
If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...)
That thing you felt when you knew Albrecht? It’s what you’re missing in that brilliant mind of yours. Mostly because it has nothing to do with the head, but the heart. When you finally become familiar with that part of you – you’re going to be a terrifying force of nature.

Digging this up again cuz I've done my first Inquisitor. She's gonna be a dwarf, primarily used just for getting my feel for the game before I roll my mage qunquisitor (which I haven't started on yet). I'm also not doing this 'in character.' Warning: truly heady wall o' text in the spoiler tag, click at your own peril.
- What is your full name? - Malika Cadash. I suck at name mkay?
- Where and when were you born? - Dunno, figure it's something the game will establish.
- Who are/were your parents? (Know their names, occupations, personalities, etc.) - Mother died young, father is the leader of the family and I think an important member of the Carta too right?
- Do you have any siblings? What are/were they like? - Yeah several older brothers and one younger, they're relatively peripheral with attitudes ranging from protectiveness to apathy to seeing her as a good tool to use to gain stronger ties with other Carta family members (via marriage).
- Where do you live now, and with whom? Describe the place and the person/people. - With her extended family, accomplices servants and etc.
- What is your occupation? - Works for her father, usually on paper work, meetings and etc more often as a thief and sometimes as an assassin.
- Write a full physical description of yourself. You might want to consider factors such as: height, weight, race, hair and eye color, style of dress, and any tattoos, scars, or distinguishing marks. - Reddish brown hair (ie auburn) amber eyes possibly with freckles and with a shallow scar along her right jaw she also has burn scars all along her right leg and on the sole of her left foot which makes walking barefoot over rough terrain a problem. She's an unremarkable kind of pretty with the exception of her eyes which smile more often than her mouth.
- To which social class do you belong? - Whatever the Carta is considered. Rich but not noble?
- Do you have any allergies, diseases, or other physical weaknesses? - Nope.
- Are you right- or left-handed? - Right.
- What does your voice sound like? - Like Sumalee Montano. I think, haven't really decided yet.
- What words and/or phrases do you use very frequently? - Haven't decided on this yet.
- What do you have in your pockets? - A piece of rock and a fishing line. The rock is just about the only way in which she acknowledges her dwarven heritage, she chips a piece of some rock wherever she goes for luck. The fishing line isn't actually fishing line it's rope for her garrote, if people see it she tells them she's very serious about her oral hygiene.
- Do you have any quirks, strange mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics? - She really is quite serious about her oral hygiene and she brushes three times a day, she also counts words on her fingers when she's stressed and rubs her knows when she lost in thought.
- How would you describe your childhood in general? - Happy for the most part and relatively carefree.
- What is your earliest memory? - A bearded man (I'm feeling father here but I haven't 100% decided) making her giggle by holding gemstones in front of his eyes in a candle lit room and pulling funny faces.
- How much schooling have you had? - She knows the basic stuff like how to read and write and is pretty good with maths, she's covered geography and knows a bit of history too.
- Did you enjoy school? - Not the formal kind.
- Where did you learn most of your skills and other abilities? - Initially from her aunt Anca, later from other members of her family when her father realized she didn't want to be a 'proper' lady.
- While growing up, did you have any role models? If so, describe them. - Yes, aunty Anca was idolized until the last.
- While growing up, how did you get along with the other members of your family? - Pretty well, never had problems with her father was too dazzled by his sister to gainsay ever, sometimes with the younger brothers and cousins but nothing serious.
- As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? - The head of the house, when she learned that all her brothers would have to die she dropped this idea though. Later on she just wanted to be like her aunt, be a benefit to the House.
- As a child, what were your favorite activities? - The usual Carta kid idea of fun, the picking of pockets, the cutting of purses and listening at keyholes.
- As a child, what kinds of personality traits did you display? - Fearless, independent, rash.
- As a child, were you popular? Who were your friends, and what were they like? - She was pretty popular yah, her two closest friends were brothers, sons of the family smith, I dunno what their names are but one's dark haired and the other's blonde they'd grow up to be her closest confidants and accomplices too.
- When and with whom was your first kiss? - To the blonde brother and the second shortly thereafter from the dark-haired one.
- Are you a virgin? If not, when and with whom did you lose your virginity? - Aw hell naw. And on her 16th nameday with a handsome boy from a visiting family, it happened to be his nameday two. They were each other's present.
- If you are a supernatural being (i.e. mage, werewolf, vampire), tell the story of how you became what you are or first learned of your own abilities. If you are just a normal human, describe any influences in your past that led you to do the things you do today. N/A
- What do you consider the most important event of your life so far? - The day their house/palace burnt down. Or was set afire. Many members of the family died including two of Malika's older brothers, dozens of servants and also aunty Anca while she went in again and again first dragging Malika out, then her father and lastly her baby brother. It was on that last run she suffered the worst burns, her hair had caught fire, her clothes she ran shrieking from the wreckage but still cradled the baby to her breast. Her face was burned so badly one of her eyes had melted and her lips, so used to giving a cheeky grin, was twisted into a sickening simulacrum. When they took the baby away (burnt to the point of disfigurement but he'd live) she stopped screaming but the silence almost sounded worse, she saw Malika and beckoned her closer but she so horrified by the ruin of her aunt's face and the general shock of the night that she couldn't move. The left side of her aunt's lips twitched in what might have been a smile but the forlorn look in her eye would remain with Malika forever, before she could rush forward that eye dimmed. This event literally sets up the core of her character but that's for later.
- Who has had the most influence on you? - Her father, despite her worship of Anca it was her father that shaped her the most. His iron sense of loyalty most of all.
- What do you consider your greatest achievement? - When her father gave her command of the group that would ambush and kill the members of a rival house, the ones responsible for the fire. When she returned with the news it was the first time in years her father smiled.
- What is your greatest regret? - The aforementioned ambush/assassination had someone with it that wasn't supposed to be there, a younger cousin or daughter of their House. She was too young to have had anything to do with it but Malika slit her throat anyway. Sometimes she likes to tell herself that it was a mercy killing since the girl had a quarrel sticking out of her stomach anyway but she knows mercy was the last thing on her mind when she did it.
- What is the most evil thing you have ever done? - The above.
- Do you have a criminal record of any kind? - Not officially, no.
- When was the time you were the most frightened? - As a child she developed a phobia of the dark after one of her brothers locked her up in a closet (still not fond of closed spaces, a poor dwarf all agree) as a 'joke' for three hours. Anca helped her get over it by showing her the dark isn't nearly as scary when you're the one people should be scared of.
- What is the most embarrassing thing ever to happen to you? - When she started whoring she liked to steal the payment she gave the prostitutes after they were done. Except the one time she found her entire purse on the dresser, he'd lifted it without her realizing it but instead of denying it or running he'd just smirked, opened it and taken his payment and handed it back to her as if nothing was amiss.
- If you could change one thing from your past, what would it be, and why? - She wouldn't have hesitated to go to aunty Anca.
- What is your best memory? - That ambush/assassination happened in Kirkwall, she felt unclean after killing the child and so did something she really wasn't very wont to do. She went and confessed in the Chantry, to a Reverend Mother. She kicked herself afterwards since she didn't feel absolved just thick as a wall for confessing murder to a Chantry priest but as she was walking down the steps a shaft of light fell on a crack in the wall, a single blue flower was growing there in dull, desolate Hightown and as she looked up the sun's light was being reflected of a statue of Andraste that seemed to be looking at her right in the eyes. She felt absolved then.
- What is your worst memory? - The fire.
- Are you basically optimistic or pessimistic? - Optimistic but don't tell anyone.
- What is your greatest fear? - Not living up to expectations, primarily her own but she doesn't realize that. See her idealization of Anca and her father's massive emphasis on loyalty and family ties makes her feel like she should be willing to sacrifice herself for those she cares for, except she's not sure she could do that. She likes living yah see. Sort of oxidized to that feeling of inadequacy is shame that she doesn't measure up to her dead aunt and guilt too as she can't ever think of her aunt without remembering that lost look in her eye as she died.
- What are your religious views? - She feels complicated feelings towards the Chantry, she's not religious but... yeah, it's complicated.
- What are your political views? - Doesn't really have any.
- What are your views on sex? - Woo yeah bru.
- Are you able to kill? Under what circumstances do you find killing to be acceptable or unacceptable? - Yes, used to it by now. The shorter list would be when it's NOT appropriate to kill and that would be family/loyal friends and people who have never and probably will never do you any harm.
- In your opinion, what is the most evil thing any human being could do? - Betrayal is absolute anathema to her.
- Do you believe in the existence of soul mates and/or true love? - Pfffft, no.
- What do you believe makes a successful life? - Protecting and providing for those your responsible for, loving your family and lots of money.
- How honest are you about your thoughts and feelings (i.e. do you hide your true self from others, and in what way)? - There are some things she refuses to talk about because she doesn't even acknowledge it to herself but otherwise she's a pretty open book.
- Do you have any biases or prejudices? - None jump to mind. Except poooooosssibly towards nobles. They seem to have all the wealth of House Cadash but none of that responsibility to its charges or its strange sense of honour.
- Is there anything you absolutely refuse to do under any circumstances? Why do you refuse to do it? - She doesn't have any absolutes, no.
- Who or what, if anything, would you die for (or otherwise go to extremes for)? - She'd kill for herself and her family and her friends, dying for them is a bird of a different colour that she really couldn't answer. She'd love that answer to be a yes though.
- In general, how do you treat others (politely, rudely, by keeping them at a distance, etc.)? Does your treatment of them change depending on how well you know them, and if so, how? - She's almost always pleasant, something she learned from watching her father, smile even when you're planning their deaths not a day from now.
- Who is the most important person in your life, and why? - Her father, shadow of himself that he is now, is what she'll always tell everyone. But she feels like the real answer is 'myself.'
- Who is the person you respect the most, and why? - Anca and Da.
- Who are your friends? Do you have a best friend? Describe these people. - Still those two sons of the smith, they got even closer after their father died in the fire.
- Do you have a spouse or significant other? If so, describe this person. - Nope.
- Have you ever been in love? If so, describe what happened. - Nope.
- What do you look for in a potential lover? - A handsome face and a nice body primarily, she doesn't look for anything deeper than something primal and physical.
- How close are you to your family? - Very.
- Have you started your own family? If so, describe them. If not, do you want to? Why or why not? - She already has a family, her younger cousins are as close to her as she imagines her own children will be one day. And yes she plans on adding to the brood at some point but it's an undefined 'someday.'
- Who would you turn to if you were in desperate need of help? - Anyone in the family really.
- Do you trust anyone to protect you? Who, and why? - Family again, the brothers too.
- If you died or went missing, who would miss you? - There'd be hell to pay.
- Who is the person you despise the most, and why? - The man who burnt down their house and changed everything forever.
- Do you tend to argue with people, or avoid conflict? - She likes SUPERFICIAL arguments and disagreements but quietly she deeply resents people questioning her decsions because it reminds her of her own feelings of inadequacy, reminds her that she might not really have the best interest of those around her in mind.
- Do you tend to take on leadership roles in social situations? - Yes.
- Do you like interacting with large groups of people? Why or why not? - Yes, big, boisterous family kinda made that a necessity.
- Do you care what others think of you? - Yes, much more than she'd like to admit.
- What is/are your favorite hobbies and pastimes? - She likes gardening and collecting gems.
- What is your most treasured possession? - A lockpick ring her aunt gave her.
- What is your favorite color? - Sky blue. Not blue sky though.
- What is your favorite food? - I dunno.
- What, if anything, do you like to read? - Not much of a reader though she HAS read most of the Hard in Hightown series.
- What is your idea of good entertainment (consider music, movies, art, etc.)? - She loves dancing but finds most other forms of art dull. Except music.
- Do you smoke, drink, or use drugs? If so, why? Do you want to quit? - She smokes very occasionally since she likes the smell of her father's pipe, he doesn't approve though so only occasionally.
- How do you spend a typical Saturday night? - Saturday's are catch-up-on-the-paperwork-you-ignored-throughout-the-week day so Saturday night is Debauchery & Excess.
- What makes you laugh? - The word Divine makes her ~snrk~ after she heard 'diddle your Divine' at a whorehouse.
- What, if anything, shocks or offends you? - Blatant racism confuses her since it's such a foreign concept in the Carta, where you advance due to ability and race is largely irrelevant. She kinda pauses and blinks.
- What would you do if you had insomnia and had to find something to do to amuse yourself? - She'd go through and categorize her gem collection.
- How do you deal with stress? - Goes for a walk at night when's everything's quiet or she does paperwork.
- Are you spontaneous, or do you always need to have a plan? - She's not too great at planning but she's great at adapting the plans of others in the field.
- What are your pet peeves? Toenail clippings and nose-whistles.
- Describe the routine of a normal day for you. How do you feel when this routine is disrupted? - The average day is filled with (you guessed it) paperwork and meeting and dealing with important merchants and other Carta family envoys, managing her small-but-growing personal spy-network and going through Anca's endless schematics on... everything. She's usually relieved when it's disrupted cuz it means she's probably going to be sent to do something exciting.
- What is your greatest strength as a person? - Adaptability.
- What is your greatest weakness? - Self-doubt/unrealistic expectations.
- If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? - She'd remove what she sees as her 'selfishness' and make it so she'd die for those she cares about without a second thought.
- Are you generally introverted or extroverted? - Hella extroverted.
- Are you generally organized or messy? - She tends towards messy but more than a decade of having to keep records and etc have somewhat curtailed the chaos.
- Name three things you consider yourself to be very good at, and three things you consider yourself to be very bad at. - Good; stabbing things, cooking and getting wealthy merchants to support the family. Bad; sitting still, paperwork, being obedient.
- Do you like yourself? - Yes (except not really).
- What are your reasons for being an adventurer (or doing the strange and heroic things that RPG characters do)? Are your real reasons for doing this different than the ones you tell people in public? (If so, detail both sets of reasons...) - Cuz she was curious, proud to be given more responsibility and because her father said so. In that order.
- What goal do you most want to accomplish in your lifetime? - Be the kind of person the House could be proud of.
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years? - Dunno.
- If you could choose, how would you want to die? - If you have to ask you haven't been paying attention. Although mind you that's not really the way she wants to die but it's the way she feels like she should have to want to die.
- If you knew you were going to die in 24 hours, name three things you would do in the time you had left. - Say bye to the family, pray (she hasn't decided if it would be at the Stone or the Maker) and stare at the sky.
- What is the one thing for which you would most like to be remembered after your death? - Being so much like her aunt.

- What three words best describe your personality? - Loyal, strong-willed, insecure. (From my perspective, not hers)
- What three words would others probably use to describe you? - Loyal, vibrant, quick.
- If you could, what advice would you, the player, give to your character? (You might even want to speak as if he or she were sitting right here in front of you, and use proper tone so he or she might heed your advice...) - Stop wanting to be your aunt, there's nothing wrong with not wanting to die, if you were so very willing to lay down your life would it even mean anything? As long as you measure your worth against her specter you're never going to be your own person. There's nothing wrong with admiration but worship to the point of emulation isn't healthy.
