As in I hope hey have played games with BioWare ireland or bioware lower slovenia or bioware togo to see the effects of lag in DAMP.  It has not been a major major factor in tons me3mp games for me but some abilities and weapons simply work very badly with lag.

Don't hold your breath. "Host lag" and many other issues are inevitable with the P2P system that EAware loves so much.

ME3 multiplayer used dedicated servers.

You could opt instead to "local host," which people with very slow connections sometimes did because it made things great for them at the cost of being unplayable for the other three people.

Yeah. Don't want to fade step into the sky, or fall way below the map due to lag.

I imagine that there will be plenty of testing for stuff like this.

The question will mostly be if it's considered a big enough issue to allocate bug fixing resources to working on it over other issues, as it's impossible to fix every bug in the game.

I am pretty sure he was playing a different game that's not ME3MP.

I think it is likely that there will be noticable lag-related issues. Hopefully, Bioware has learned from the experience of ME3MP...... wait, who am I kidding, they are bring back p2p style hosting. They have learned NOTHING.

Given the nature of how Dragon Age's combat works there should at least be less issues with weapons since they aren't projectile in the way that the GPS, Graal, etc. were.

I would say that I hope that EA uses a better server this time around but... EA.
