DA:O was the game which made the DA series so famous, DA2 was the game which made the DA series so infamousI get it that maybe they don't care about the Warden but we doOne little cameo, it is not that much but it's a great gift for the fans

they dont even gotta say anything just look like id want them to and maybe help out off screen. Id settle for that

Hey I just enjoy watching nerd rage burn the Internet. I don't care about the source as long as it is big and long lasting. I admit it makes me a horrible person, but hey at least it means I got some enjoyment out of ME3's ending.

You do realize that I'm laughing at you not with you right? As much as you thought some people doesn't have better things to do than fighting in the internet, the people who have that much of a free time to spent watching those argument are pretty much the same.

I hope when our Inquisitor finally finds Hawke and Generic Warden guy they explain that our Warden was busy fighting 3 High Dragons Naked,Drunk and Bare Handed just for fun and thats why they aren't with them.

It's not the fact that Warden isn't getting a cameo that bothers me. It's that despite their story being over they're once again thrown into the frying pan only to be reduced to an off screen cameo in favor of a protagonist that was so... meh.

I'm a horrible person for feeling this way but I would love watching the holy fires of nerdrage that would come forth from this. Double points if it was just a mook with a unique name.

No, that would be just mean.  People liked their wardens.  They want to see them and that everything worked out OK.  There's nothing wrong with that.  I'd be horribly ticked off if any of my wardens turned into any enemy, let alone a named lieutenant in a mob.

we shall not be silent til we have closure. Granted the hawke bashing is messed up but we are disgruntled by this development. I only ask you dont paint us all with the same brush.... unless its a pretty brush with red highlights

I'm pretty certain its a question of implementation. Hawke has a "canon" appearance, voice actors, and defined personality sets, while the Warden has none of these things. Of the two, Hawke is by far the easier to put into DAI. Given that part of Hawke's story got cut due to the cancellation of the Exalted March DLC, taking the opportunity to finish of Hawke's story makes sense also.

 

While I would love to see the Warden as much as anyone, I can see why it would be an absolute nightmare for the devs to implement and why they put it in the "too hard" basket.

Making Hawkes one-dimensional is just bad

Also, we can remake them ,meaning we could remake the Warden as well

As for the voice - simply appearing would be good enough and understendable. Passing by, making a gesture, being in an epic fight - not every cameo has to be voiced

I wouldnt be surprised if the BSN managed to spend 3 weeks making a 200 page thread filled with analyzation and theorycrafting based on a a tweet where a dev writes the letted "E" alone with no intended meaning whatsoever.

Either the warden is in the game or not. Binary. True or false. As we can imagine both outcomes, I really dont understand the fanaticism in trying to dig this info out for an answer. Sometimes I feel like Im a part of some cult in here

Not going to lie I never have anything against Hawke even though I really dislike what they did with DA: II since it's turned out to be a disappointment, but tbh I'm starting to dislike Hawke because some of the character fanatical fans have to start a competition on who's better and deserve to have physical appearancein DA:I. Of course, it's unjustified but the same could be said for people who's starting to hate the Warden or DA:O because people's complaining about the Warden's absent. I also dislike BioWare's decision but I'll wait until DA: I come out then we can judge.

Well my warden left wardens and then returned in daa without explanation where still could say he will leave after solving current so well they didn't disrespect your choices as you don't know what they are doing if they appeared they would disrespect a lot of choices.

ones who want their wardens showin up and those who dont. I admit in my rage im oversimplifiying things but atm this how i see things. If your warden died cool no show bioware place holder added. If they did survive and did the WH dlc i feel that we are allowed so closure since WH let more questions than answers and little closure, that is now being treated as "hey thanks for your money now go back the pit whence you came from" again im not thinking clearly due to rage. Normally im calm and understanding
