what straight males have? what any of 3 male nonhumans have? what non-andrastian and mages males have? players who played as them

 

the previous games even DAO was more fair and have more difference even that DAO have no non-humans to romance exept Zevran

Like I said......I suggest you get over it.  Times have changed.  If you can't accept change I suggest you don't buy the game.   What you are suggesting is selfish.   The writers/game developers are not going to cater to anyone's demands

The sad thing is I have no issues with a romance dlc that gives multiple groups options. That could be nice.

they already did with adding "missing" non-humans for who we waited since DA2 and even more adding kossith when i for months with others wrote dozens of posts about this to and how to add at least elfs if they have problems with that

 

and with ME3 with extended cut

 

I see a lot of peoples here and.i am writing here for no less than 5 years, and play for bio games far more than 15 years since baldur gate.

 

and i see a lot trolls callers and other like you...so why the hell are you here peoples if you like all what you have? why the hell you complain and judge others call them as "trolls", call those people who does not ok of what they have after many years of waiting? 

 

i am here not for myself but and for my friends and the ones who does not know english well to wrote here, those who does not be there because there is dozens of huge fan-sites of Bio games when this official-developers site having just a very small peace of auditory

 

if you here seat and say something like "troll troll  troll" because you simply not like statements of others or say something like "get over it" or "do not buy the game" or "play as other hero with other gender and sexuality to get something" when you  damn have other option...i suggest you all whiners leave this site and do not waste traffic and time of those who is here doing something real, who do make a real statement and ask of devs(because this forum exist for this, to speak with players and improve the games) to do something good, not ask them to add some ponys, rabbits and rainbows....we already have fails in DA2 and ME3 and DAI is became fail too because of many thing for what many will not be ok and when the game will out you will have a volcano of anger, i as others is damn tired of that good titles became ruined and we wait for so long to get some bullsh*t...

Congratulations for making my ignore list.  You are NOT reading anything people have posted to you.  You want to be catered and pandered to. Its all about your needs.  You want the game developers to sacrifice their artistic integrity because you ARE NOT GETTING WHAT YOU WANT.     Like I said, don't get the game.     Because there are plenty of others who are looking forward to it.

Sorry about this I'd really support this idea.

 

(Plus as extra stuff we could maybe get a mini quest where we rescue or recruit the new LIs with new areas and loot so not just romance fans could be interested).

I do not understand why there would be a romance DLC.. A DLC where you can hire new companions is what I would like. If the story of the DLC is cool then deal! And if you  can have one (or more) additional romance(s), then why not but it is not what is the most interesting part of a DLC for me.

Agreed on the first point, but I disagree on the second.  There is a mod to improve the colors for BF3, which took about a year to do.  That being said, it's very difficult to mod that engine.  My guess is that we might get some armor retextures down the road, but I wouldn't anticipate more than that for quite some time.  Perhaps in 2-3 years, with the engine being in more games, it'll become easier for the modding community to write mods.   <shrug>

 

Really? All i've heard is how Frostbite 3 is un-modable but that is good if it is . Fixes that the modding community have provided generally have been top-notch , I tip my hat to the creators of all 4 Unofficial Skyrim Patches.

I haven't played Skyrim, but I also tip my hat to the DA:O modding community for the multiple bug fixes for Awakening.  The game is damned near unplayable otherwise.

Let me just say one thing.  Cassandra is NOT a strong woman.  Anyone who dismisses criticism of Cassandra as coming from someone who is not able to handle a strong woman is totally off their rocker.  Cassandra looks like an anorexic Parisian catwalk model in armor.  This is not a warrior.  And it is an insult to all women who actually do put in major effort into improving their physical strength and physique.  Let's just be honest here.  If they were going for gritty realism and unconventionality by having a "strong" warrior female, just on physique alone it's a total fail.

What are you talking about? Cassandra isn't called a strong women because of her physical physique. She's considered a strong women just because of her demeanor alone, have you played DA2?. Plus being strong isn't the only attribute a warrior most cater to, speed and agility are also important for sword play, not just strength.

What are you talking about?  I have played both DA games.  Cassandra is a warrior.  Never mind personality, for a warrior, Strength is the most important attribute.  The fact you don't know this basic fact about the game mechanics makes me suspect you haven't played the games.  It's almost guaranteed that Cassandra will have the highest Strength score of any of your companions second only to the Iron Bull.  And look at the size disparity between them.  Cassandra has the physique of a 10-year old grade schooler.  It doesn't make sense and it's not indicative of artistic integrity; someone's being pandered to, and I have a good idea who.  If Cassandra were a male, you would easily call this out.  Think about that.

I'm not talking about in game attributes, I'm talking about in general. She's depicted as a strong women because of her personality, not her in game strength stat. Plus you have it wrong, it's not guaranteed that Cassandra has the highest strength, because the player dictate how strong each character will be when they level up. You could make Cassandra a weakling if you prefer, by not leveling up her strength. She won't be stronger than anyone unless the player prefers her to be. So as it seems, you know nothing about the basic mechanics of the game.

this romance DLC should be called "EXTRA STUFF" and should include one romance for females dwarves and qunari, and one extra m/m, f/f and m/f romance.
 
It should also come with extra Qunari hairstyles, a black empiorum, and a new area that gives you extra loot at early levels.
 
...It'd be $19.99
 
And I'd probably buy it.

I'm talking about the starting, default attributes, and also most likely the attributes that will be assigned if you auto-level.  Yes, of course, you can customize each character as they level according to your tastes.  You could make Vivienne the Mage have the highest Strength score of anyone after a few levels.  But we both know this is counter-intuitive and a very poor use of companion resources.  You are just blowing smoke.

Where's is your proof of the starting attributes, your only assuming as I see it. And does it even matter if the starting stat does show her as being stronger, it's not like it dictates the entire game going forth. It's not counter-intuitive because the entire game rest on player's decisions and how they build their, party for their preference, it's the main point, players choice. I'm not blowing smoke because the strength stat isn't what defines Cassandra as a strong women, it's her personality which ultimately does.

It'd be cool if they did a Vivienne romance dlc...

 

But being realistic after playing the game, it would probably seem inorganic to the story at that point. I don't want to get anyone's hopes down, but that's how I feel.
