what exactly will happen if I can't get DAO characters into my Bioware profile page? Is is worth the effort to chase down and try and fix the bug that prevents anything from showing up there? (as pertains to DAI).

If this is in regards to importing, that's all taken care of inside the Keep so there should be no impact at all.

The import function is optional, and you'll still have the ability to make a world state that reflects what you did in the last two DAs + DLC.

I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks guys. I just didn't want my warden to pop up much to my surprise and be called Elissa. What difference is there to importing and inputting to the Keep?

You want to head over to the Dragon Age Keep and read the FAQs.

All that is imported from BSN are your character's portrait (just an image only), origin, class and gender. His actual story history is NOT imported. In my opinion trying frantically to fix the import is not worth the trouble for such minor changes you can set much faster than it takes you to wrestle with BSN.

Plus the warden isn't showing up anyway (although I guess the details will, if its a codex entry)

This may answer your question.

I can't get any of my DAO or DA2 saves to show up on Bioware social. I had a long chat with EA support (over half an hour of trying stuff) and got nothing from it. They promised to escalate it and I have not heard a word in over two weeks.

On the flip side I did get a 15% discount for the Origin site valid until Oct 31st. No good to me mind but it may be some compensation to you if you want to try the helpdesk

Yeah they always hand out 15% off. Too bad it doesnt work on pre-orders

Did you have DA2 before DAO? Made sure the console (cheat mode) is disabled?
