There are so many things to be excited for in Dragon Age Inquisition! And my hype is constantly moving to new things with every bit of news we get from Bioware. But what are you all excited for?

Everything.

Nothing really stands out tbh. Only the visual art. The most interesting thing I've heard about is passing judgement to criminals.

 

On the flip side this can be a good thing. In my experience It's the unassuming parts that turn out to be the best.

But seriously, Hawke's cameo, making my Inquisitor in the CC, and figuring out who this Elder One is and (hopefully) ending it have me hyped the most.

I'll have to say the CC, all the freedom in playstyle, and of course the new companions!

All of it! But in particular:

-Playing around with the new character creator. It looks beyond amazing.

-Meeting all the new characters and experiencing their stories.

-Seeing Leliana, Cullen, Alistair, and Morrigan again.

-Skyhold

The CC, the story, the combat and the new companions. Pretty much everything!

I'm mostly looking forward to the banter between the companions

But seriously im most excited about our position as a leader. We havent been this much of an authoritative figure in most games let alone in a DA installment, i cant wait to see what we're allowed to do with our influence and power.

That moment when you reenter an area and decide to walk down a different path you didn't notice before and come across that one McGuffin you were searching for 40 hours ago. Then proceed to bang your head against the wall while simultaneously crying tears of joy for you found it without a guide.

 

That is what I'm looking forward to.

Being able to choose a voice.

 

The murder knife.

 

Leliana's bondage.

 

Meeting Empress Celene.

 

Josephine's booty.

There are a lot of things, but taken on the whole, the move to the Frostbite engine and the gorgeous scenery they've been able to create with it was the first thing that got me hyped for it. But I think when they announced that multiple races were in had the biggest impact for me...

Skyhold/Taking charge of the Inquisition and leading it sending your men out on missions and your advisers and being a general, but in the field sort.

 

Getting a hold of the Character Creator. 

 

Meeting the Characters (this honestly looks like the best cast in a BW game since ME 2). 

 

Listening to the Music. 

 

Seeing Thedas in all its glory (but not neccessarily exploring it)

 

Being a Rogue again. (eventually).
