Just the bow combat. I've been playing DA2 and the bow feels great. I'm just wondering how might it be better in Inquisition, I just really want them to hit that sweet spot with bow combat. It was painful in Origins and DA2 made archer enjoyable to play, but I just want more. So that's what I'm anticipating the most.

Skyhold/Taking charge of the Inquisition and leading it sending your men out on missions and your advisers and being a general, but in the field sort.
Getting a hold of the Character Creator.
Meeting the Characters (this honestly looks like the best cast in a BW game since ME 2).
Listening to the Music.
Seeing Thedas in all its glory (but not neccessarily exploring it)
Being a Rogue again.
(eventually).
All of this .. except defo looking forward to exploring. Oh and Dorian.

I'm hyped about everything but the lack of health regen and apparent limitations on healing. I can deal with it, but not wild about that part, though I'm withholding final judgment until I've played it. I doubt it'll be a big deal for me. I did survive Baldur's Gate and the like back in the day. ![]()
But the things I'm most hyped about are probably the character creator and the companions. Always the big points with me and Bioware games. Plot too of course, but I get more excited about the characters comparatively.

The story, especially how the background of the MC will affect the story.

Oh my...well, to avoid writting five pages of "I AM SO HYPED FOR Y, BECAUSE OF THIS AND THAT, AND EVEN MORE HYPED FOR X DUE TO..", I should try and keep it simple ![]()
*To once again be able to play as different races. I didn't mind Hawke, but it is good to have some more options for replay value.
*The companions. It is always a great experiance to meet the new squad (and members of the old squads) in a Bioware game.
*The combat. While it seems to be more difficult, it will be intresting to try a new approach to a DA game, without simply going berserk with mage AoE ![]()
*The story. Nuff said ![]()

*Skyhold and the Inquistion mangement system
* Ability to take over/infliuence strongholds
* Crafting and naming what you craft
* More enviromental variety/ more "open world"
* Varied combat approaches

Playing as female qunari is probaply what I'm most hyped about. Interacting with companions and advisors is close second.

All of it, really. Except MP, because I won't play it, but I love the concept of it and the way the MP characters are actually specific people in the Inquisition. It works thematically, which I like, like ME3s.
If I had to pick a few, I'm hyped for the story and meeting the cast on a more personal basis, the exploration, playing a qunari, creating awesome personalised weapons. Cameos from Hawke and other returning characters. And party banter, always the party banter. So damn hyped for this game.

The first really great villain in the DA series.
Arl Howe and Loghain were good, but the archdemon lacked personality.
DA:2 - not a single memorable villain other that Corypheus. Meredith and Quentin were ok'ish.
It seems they have listened to feedback because it seems that for the first time - we will have a non-human omnipotent super-villain which also has a personality, a specific goal, ambition.
Important factor: A personal relation between your character and your archnemesis. When it comes to this - FF7 wrote the book. Like or dislike FF7 - but the relationship between Cloud Strife and Sephiroth was the crown jewel of protagonist vs antagonist relation. It was a deep story with them doing battle physically and mentally from start to finnish.

Every time I'm almost getting hyped about something in DA:I I remember how hyped I felt before DA2 came out.
At this point I'm just hoping it doesn't suck... maybe next game I can get excited for if this one doesn't turn out to be a disappointment.
