Auto-dialogue and the cartoony combat. Alas...
The combat was always cartoony.

Darkspawn design
Recycled cave, but that's not a problem this time around.
So I'll go with Sebastian. If that Chant-thumper shows again, he'd better have brought his army.

reused enviroments god that was awful
sure DA2 had some other shortcomings but nothing major (for me at least)

sry old school RPG gamer but most people like voiced protagonists
so thats not going to change anytime soon (hopefully)
I actually do want the junk items thing to return. I liked being able to collect loot from enemies and easily sell it for profit. I didn't like the endless sifting through a list of low-tier items I was never going to use (essentially making them junk anyway) just to pick out the one amulet that might be useful or whatever.
As for what I don't want to return... that cave. You know the one. THAT cave. Regardless of whichever interior doors are open or closed to make it look different, I never want to see THAT cave again.
Inquisition's already addressed most of my grievances with DA2.
The only gripe that I have now are the weapon style restrictions for rogue and especially the warrior, but if everything else is good then I'll stomach it.
it is definitely the junk item thingy.
what a complete waste of effort looting a corpse only to find absolutely useless items. at least in DAO, all items have something written about them.
I liked junk items, more specifically, I liked knowing which items had no in game use and were therefor safe to sell. DAO also had junk items, they just weren't labeled.
I just don't understand how to play them.sry old school RPG gamer but most people like voiced protagonists
I'll be annoyed if Anders doesn't stay dead.
I personally wasn't a fan of Tallis.
Railroading.
And Uncle Gamlen. JK, I liked him.
Every single fight turning into a wave endurance course bleh....
The shameless copy/pasting of caves/warehouses/mansions (although seems they've addressed this
)
Being put in the situation where i am given apparntly an important choice but the EXACT same outcome would happen regardless of what i picked (fighting both Meredith and Orsino no matter who you sided with). (bomb destroying Chantry).
The antagonist's development being thrown out of window last minute when outside force just 'made her/him crazy'... Really hoping that DA:I villian is something with motives i can atleast sympathize with to some degree

end list
The wave battles for one. But the reused environments are a close second. I understand it all took place in the same damn city, but surely they could have made some separate areas for each Act? Well, I know they could have, but EA just had to rush them...... At least EA seems to realize now that rushing a game through isn't a license to just print money, at least if the game is supposed to be a deep RPG.

At least they have an option to display the whole line you're about to say instead of just the summary. That should please you.
They don't have that. They are not doing that.At least they have an option to display the whole line you're about to say instead of just the summary. That should please you.
I read that somewhere. There's a toggle to see extra explanation of a summarized choice on the wheel displayed above the wheel. Another place said it was the whole line. Don't have links though, sigh.

Kirkwall
I had enough...
A character who's supposed to be dead get resurrected by BioWare because *reason*.
