The quest structure. While the act 1 was smart, it's cheap.

I didn't like how low approval (aka Rivalry) with certain companions led them to use dialogue inferring something about your character that might not be true.  This was most annoying with Rival!Anders, the biggest offender, who declares you anti-mage when you could have been entirely pro-mage.

A hundred new men jumping from roof tops after I already killed the first hundred. Oh, and one hit kills from Arcane horrors and those dumb assassins that disappear then re-appear only to stab you in the back then keep doing it over and over!! I want all of this gone.

Oh, it's a LOT more than one.

1) Reused environments.

2) Dumbed down and over the top combat.

3) Castrated sidequests.

4) Retarded story and chacracters.

Bonus!

Yeah this was just ridiculous, especially on Hard and Nightmare settings. You think you're finished then a hundred more guys appear out off thin air. It's just NUTS!!

Well, to be honest almost everyone was anti-mage to Anders.

Merill harmed the way mages were seen by using Blood Magic, Bethany was happy in the Circle (HOW DARE SHE!), random girl abused by Templars called him an Abomination and he wants to murder her for collaborating with Templars...

Hell, mage Hawke can be called anti-mage. Aveline is anti-mage to him. Carver, Fenris and Sebastian obviously...

Varric just didn't give a crap.

But you could have been very anti-templar and pro-mage, but still rival Anders through disapproving of his choice with Justice.  Then he accuses you of standing against the Mages somewhere in Act 3 (if I recall) even if nothing of the sort occurred.

The blasted weapon restrictions. Which they haven't changed a single, solitary bit. Even ME3 fixed that from ME2.

I really liked DA2, but I hated the little details. The lack of character customization, the lack of detail in the surroundings, the repeatable zones and dungeons. It was a total let down.

it is definitely the junk item thingy.

what a complete waste of effort looting a corpse only to find absolutely useless items. at least in DAO, all items have something written about them.

imho, this is worse that the recurring dungeons and relatively weaker plotline than DAO.

I thought you meant the abilty to set your loot to junk, to sell later.... because i love that feature.

Yeah...it is certainly the junk items...and I'm not entirely sure what they were thinking when they did it. If you're going to do something like that...just put money in the container, and if you think just having money in the container is boring...then why not put something useful?

I doubt we will see it in this game, because it was one of the bigger complaints surrounding the launch of DA2...

I don't mind "junk" items..just not ones that are actual junk. Baldur's Gate and the like had a ton of stuff that had no applicable use other than selling, but it's something people might want to collect. Poor Hawke was like someone picking up things not even the scavengers wanted.

In DA:O, every item seemed to be unique, you know?

In DA2, you'd get an item with an identical name as another item (like "Ring"), but the stats will be different like +2% physical damage or +34 attack. I hated that.

I really enjoyed DA2.  There are things I missed from DA:O/A, but it was still awesome to me.

The only thing I hope to not see, but it's very possible, is a ton of depressing events that relate directly to the Inquisitor (your/our role) like Hawke's.  The father, the brother or sister, the mother...you know?  I imagine it isn't going to be rainbows and daisies, but Hawke's life was pretty sad.

DA:I is on a much deeper level, so it could be worse.  It's just hard when the most important people in your life are torn away so terribly.
