I'm more concerned with what seems to be a rather poor PC optimization which was apparent in the livestream. Not to mention that there's still no gameplay with PC UI. i hope that doing favors for Microsoft and Sony doesn't extend beyond advertizing.

I thought it was weird that there was no Vsync turned on. The screen tearing was noticeable

My inner grammar nazi is cringing at the title...
Anyway I think they said they would "probably" have something by monday so it's hardly like they've broken a sacred trust.

Not to mention the FPS drops and obvious detail reduction. Almost no shadows and poor or not present high-end effects. Part of me hopes it's just Cameron Lee's PC but seeing how aggresively BioWare is trying to advertise consoles with this game and how sidelined PC is I'm expecting worse.

I did see the tearing aswell. Wasn't very nice to look at.

Someone in the chat, I believe LadyInsanity, said the screen tearing was because of the video encoding, not the game itself.

You do know that it was stream locked at 30 fps? Quality is obviously gonna look worse.

How is Bioware aggressively advertising consoles? Most of the footage shown has been on the PC.
No PC UI, no PC requirements, Constant gameplay with console UI, early access to "some" part of the game with xBox's new online service. Forgot what it's called.

If they aren't blatantly pandering to party a they must obviously favor party b.

PC users have been sidelined by major developers for a while now. I'm just hoping that BioWare doesn't intend to join this crowd. They really need to strike gold with this game to earn the fans' trust after a few past mistakes and treating PC as a secondary platform won't help that. Still I hope it's just a bit of bitterness clouding my judgement.

I for one am happy for the XBone EA early access thing.
They can beta test the stuff and we get the finalized product a couple weeks later ![]()

We have seen the PC UI in a screenshot. I don't see why some absolutely need to see the game being played with the PC UI when it doesn't change anything whatsoever about the quality of the game considering even with the console UI the game is still being played on a PC.No PC UI, no PC requirements, Constant gameplay with console UI, early access to "some" part of the game with xBox's new online service. The PC requirements will be released as soon as they know them. It takes time to test out everything on various PC setups and BioWare is simply pushing it rather close to release but that has got nothing to do with advertising more for consoles.

Oh right. That one screenshot showing UI limited to 8 slots to make it *fair* for console users
. *slow clap*
EDIT: *sigh* I better stop now
. Still a bit bitter over a few past BioWare screw ups and overall attitude to PC on the gaming market. *runs away*
