True but being the "Week of Awesome PC News" they could have at least done the vids with, you know, Key Board & Mouse game play.....

Friday is more likely since it's a business day. They rarely announce anything on weekends.

I'm just saying it's a bit silly being impatient in the middle of a Wednesday when the current timetable is just generally "this week", less than half the week has passed.

 

If we get to Sunday evening and there's still been nothing, then fine.

I think it is anticipation that drives the “are we there yet?” notes. When you have the specks you know you are very close to gold and that the game most likely won’t get pushed out any farther. It also lets you get your rig upgraded in time to see how it performs against other games you have in your “best game ever” bin.

Most PC releases have their requirements listed out more than a month before the game comes out. Inquisition is essentially going down to the wire by comparison and it's making plenty of people nervous.

 

After all, buying newer pcs/updating pcs to meet newer standards is not cheap. I can imagine someone spending a decent amount of cash to update/buy a pc only to find out that the pc still doesn't meet requirements. That individual will probably be frustrated that they wasted all of that effort and money only to fall short anyway.

There's plenty of patience, its just that we need to see some Timeliness.

While I myself am not assembling pitchforks, torches, or the like I can speak to a twitchy anticipation with which I await the minimum specs. While a lot of folks are talking about upgrading rigs, I think the even more expectant users may be the ones who are wondering if their PC's can handle the game at all. So, in that case, my entire anticipation for DA:I is actually contingent on my anticipation for the PC specs.
