i hope so, that would mean i can run it on low on my laptop and wont be forced to play on the tower at home...
I'm positive you'll be able to run the game on your laptop on low settings if you can do that with BF4. It certainly won't be pretty... but it's generally easy to run a game once you disable all the bells and whistles.
And know the simple GTX 770 hanfdles that well, sort of expecting DA:I to be less dammanding due to somethings being missing but we will see. Just none of those high graphic flashes and jets and tanks going around and landscapes and buildings falling apart will be less dammanding all around. At-least I think.
Edit: And it not being online.
Exactly. The GTX 770 was overkill for BF4 and DAI isn't doing anything as ambitious or taxing to the GPU compared to what BF4 did. Part of the problem with marketing graphics cards is Nvidia and AMD are always encouraging consumers to upgrade. The truth of the matter is games generally are years behind the hardware due to console limitations and the fact developers try to maintain what the majority of players can handle. Nvidia and AMD have made it a business where they can increase the polygon count of their GPUs by 33% every year and they will continue to do so to make a profit.
Do you need the latest card with an insane amount of VRAM to be able to run any of these games currently on the market? No way. Will they try to convince you that you need to spend $500 just to stay ahead of the crowd? Absolutely. If you are paying $500 or more for a GPU, you are probably ripping yourself off. There is a difference between future-proofing and just having your money stolen.
