Yes I have hope too. I am a big fan of DA but I need a miracle to run DAI on my PC
Battlefield 3 run on my PC very well but Battlefield 4 only on minimum
so.. I think that I will not play DAI
I have money only for upragde my Graphic Cards (but not too much) so maybe...

An upgrade to the newly released GTX 970 will be more than sufficient to play not only DA:I at maximum settings at 1080p, but literally every other major release for a long time to come!

I already went for a PS4 version. I considered PC, but the lack of Modding tools (plus apparently frostbite is ridiculously hard to mod) and the temptation of command consoles made me go for the PS4. That in addition to my poor pc...lol

At the very least, we'll still likely get texture mods via Texmod like people did with Mass Effect (though they eventually found a way to mod higher-resolution textures into ME1 without the need for Texmod). So you'll still likely get some modding with the PC version, just not the level that we saw with previous Dragon Age titles.

Nothing odd about it. They only recently seem to have started the optimzation process. They can't give us the requirements until they actually have tested different setups and know the requirements. They haven't been sitting on the requirements for all this time just so for the heck of it.I Have a feeling it will be close too it but find it odd they have waited so damn long to tell us
I also wonder why the requirements are a big deal to you specifically. I recall you posting about buying an X99 mainboard with an i7 6 cores processor. Not exactly the type of specs you will have to wonder about if it is enough with it being high end hardware.

I will not buy DAI before I will have the Final Sys Regs AND have seen how the Final PC Interface / Hud will look. Even on the latest Gameplay on their Twitch Channel, they showed the Console Hud. They said they making final changes to the PC Interface and will probably show it in a later "Gameplay" Session.
Well at leat they stopped showing "Alpha Footage" - less than 2 Months before the offical Release ![]()
And besides that: Its a shame that so close to release, we still have no Final System Requirements. Fernando Melo told me on Twitter, that this is normal in the Industry. Yes it is normal in the Industry these Days. And thats sad. Its bad behaviour from a lot of companies.

Whatever day they choose keep in mind that Mr. French has said that all they plan to give us are the "minimum specs" which will answer the question "can I run it?" but not the corollary follow-up "can I run it well?"

This is also a great point.
Personally, I've always been more interested in recommended settings. I don't usually worry too much about the minimum.
I think recommended settings generally say more about how demanding a game really is.

That's the one I most want to hear about. Minimum will merely tell me if it will fire up the thing but rec will tell me if I will see lots of lag or stutter or if it will look fairly amazing.
