weapon switching was all but confirmed today after the 7 minute mark where theyre talking about the classes and whether or not choosing a build in the beginning locks you into that spec. Of course it doesn't but they go on to mention "hybrid" classes. I'm hoping this means (and really I can't think of what else it could mean) that weapon switching is back, in which case my singular fear about this game will have been allayed.

 

 

Also it should tell you how excited i am for this game, based on the fact that my singular fear is whether or not we'll be able to switch weapons mid combat.

I think they confirmed weapon switching months ago, but being able to select what starting equipment you have is new and great news. I do foresee some confusion in the future however, I can see someone looking at the class selection screen and think "Wait so I have to be an archer or duel wielding right now? I can't be both or try out both yet?"
