ANYWAY, this topic is about Qunari hair, not about why playable Qunari in DAI is a bad thing.

I disagree with him, but Qunari are certainly more on-topic than casual outfits, which no one seems to mind bringing up a lot.

A lot, in this thread? It was brought up once and talked about only a little bit.

You've got to look your best if you're going to kill demons and lead the Inquisition.

i would say, please rethink adding quannari in general...

Rather than that I'd like to see Bioware to invest in qunaris since they are theirs only original race (correct if I'm wrong). There is humans in every game, dwarf and elf in almost every fantasy so qunari at least to me is something cool and new. Hopefully qunaris will have more time used to them in the future titles, especially CC and hairwise.

I really love the Qunari, they are a well thougt out fantasy race.

Dwarfs: the always geedy(check), alcohol loving(check), short(check) and sunshine hating(check) race.

The caste system bioware added is a nice twist.

Elves: Nature loving(check), pointy eared(check) archers(check).

But oppressed by humans and forced to dwell in slums. Again, nice twist.

Qunari (Kossith): A tall, horned, proud warrior race with bad hairdressers. :D

I really love the "I am going to kill you, but you have my respect" theme.

That's why I love the city elves best, they're so different from the more stereotypical elven dalish. Yeah the dalish is also a bit different with the search for the lost past and having lost their immortality, and basically being the gypsies (sorry I don't know the pc name) of dragon age. But they still live out in the woods with their bows and their arrows and are kind of arrogant.

Edit: Also qunari hair, we need some more of that. Yeah...

The proper name for them is 'Romani' by the way :)

I think it depends entirely on where you are in the world, man, in Romania they call 'em Gypsies.

I'm sure the further north the setting goes, the more prevalent the Qunari will become.

I see the Qunari having an increasing role in DA games as the series moves along, teaching us more about that original race and revealing what's behind some of their many mysteries. I would be pretty surprised if a full-scale invasion didn't occur at some stage, or at the very least be something that occurs between games - leaving us to play in the world that has resulted from it.

I for one will be interested in seeing what all of the Qunari's study of other races, together with technological advances of their own race, will result in in such an event.

And if they become the focus then Bioware can no longer skimp on making lots of amazing hairstyles for the Qunari! Huzzah! ;)

I found a few more fan-plans of Qunari :) I picked out some male ones, as I did not do that last week. It's easy for me to forget they're just as limited as the females. There are people as equally disappointed that they can't make the men they want either. As usual, IMAGE HEAVY under the cut, and @caboods I used one of yours, I hope you don't mind:-

That top left one is HOT. It's nuts.

For my male, I just wanted a cropped style, like Cassandra, with some typical, swooped back horns... or maybe ram ones, the ones curled inwards... I am an Aries after all, and my male Qunari is built to be my self insert :P.

I planned on a really scruffy, almost hermit-like Qunari-Mage who is very angry with the world. She was a bit emaciated, and had shoulder length dreads - my miserable attempt at drawing her:-

I'm genuinely surprised that there is even a possibility for anything to change in the game (bugs and all) at this point.  The game goes on sale in 6 weeks.  How long does the disc production and packaging take?  I would expect it would be beyond the "make a change" point.

Yes, well beyond change point. This has long been confirmed by the devs.

They have said they will look at it post-launch, no promises.

Those are great :) the style on left top would work for my Skye.

I think our biggest problem is still lack of volume. In the mudpun the hair isn't even couple centimenters above qunaris scalp (and it even has gap between). Usually short hairstyles are more volumious on the top, they are cut in layers to give volume and texture. Because current hairstyles lack both of those, they aren't even good as short hairstyles.

Honestly, my biggest issue is the lack of options. The volumes do ofc suck, but even if they had volume - I still would not choose any of the styles provided as it stands.
