Um, Qunari can't wear helmets in DA:I. They can only wear "toxic face paint" which gives them stat boosts, like a helmet would.
Plus, I NEVER have my female characters wear helmets because I like seeing their hair.
That's a shame. I was hoping to have some DA2 inspired armour for our Qunari Inquisitors. I liked those helmets (and the Saraabas mask as well).
But she's not even a beefcake
she's gloriously thick (another reason I wanted to play her. Even if she still is suffering BW noddle arm syndrome).

So is anyone going to pick not the mohawk option, or has that just become the default Qunari hair for pretty much everyone? Because I mean between that and the skin blotches of no horns...
Probably the mohawk for my male qunari and the bun for a female qunari that I'll probably play pretty far down the line, but hopefully there will be a hair patch by that point.

Well they looked better than that beard did at least. It's more the style I object to than the texture, the textures do seem to have been slightly improved based on this and that Qunari female we saw a while ago. So hopefully that means the bun style will look less awful.

Maybe, but come on, animating a close interaction between two complex character models of wildly differing sizes has gotta be harder than modelling static hair around the roots of horns which are always in the exact same spot regardless of said horns' varying shapes, with pictures to help. See how the hair on drawings isn't in the horns' way ? Pretty sure they wouldn't clip if you put them right there

I have no idea how difficult it would be since I'm no game designer.
I do think that if it had been easy, Bioware would have done it.
