When it comes to the healing changes, that was a very big deal. Most RPGs have some sort of healing spells or post-combat regen mechanic. Considering that the series had had both prior to this, it merited a lengthy explanation. While bunking the Holy Trinity (Tank/Healer/DPS) is starting to happen in more modern RPG, it's still new and can seem daunting to players.
There isn't much more Cameron could say about the hair. Did you want a 10,000+ word explanation about why they didn't add in more hair? Does it really need that level of an explanation? Did you want a promise for DLC? Honestly, what more did you want them to say other than, "Thanks for the feedback and we're looking into it?" I'm utterly lost at to what kind of answer is being asked for here.
Yeah and most RPGs have a decent variety of hairstyles to pick from to. And, to a LOT of people, character customization is a VERY BIG deal. But you're blowing what I said way out of proportion and twisting my words. I never said I expect Bioware to treat female Qunari hair options the same as gameplay mechanics.
I never said I expect a 10,000 word post justifying their decisions. All I said was that I WISH (not demand or expect) someone from Bioware would actually answer some of the simple questions* posed in this thread instead of just a vague "we hear you and might look into adding more hairstyles later."
They wouldn't have to go into much detail. A sentence or two would easily suffice. Is that really so much to ask for? I didn't think so, but you're making it seem like I'm being totally unreasonable.
* In case you haven't been following this thread as closely as I have, here are some of the questions a lot of us have:
Why can't we have a separate slider for hair/horns?
Why can't hornless female Qunari share hairstyles of other races?
Why does the hornless, bald option have to have necrotic craters?
Do truly hornless Qunari still exist in your lore? Why can't the inquisitor be one?
Why does the volume, texture and detail of female Qunari hair look worse when compared to the other races hairstyles (although after seeing the recent pics, they all kind of look bad IMHO)
Obviously Bioware is free to just go on ignoring this issue. Just like I'm free to go on raising a fuss. Honestly, I don't believe Cameron Lee when he said they'd look into adding more post-launch. Bioware has NEVER done that and they've gotten flak for their hair in other games, too. The only way they'd consider it is if it became a big enough issue for them to warrant adding more hairstyles. And that's why I keep posting in this thread and doing everything I can to raise awareness. I don't care if you get annoyed with my posts or misunderstand my intent.
