Then the secrets must be bugged then cause I had plenty to give Lielana and she took them but my approval did not raise at all. I'll have to retry with another qunari since I got a headache and stupidly deleted that character^^;

Secrets don't give you approval, they give you Influence.

The dance with Florianne is the best way to get a tonne of approval. Just be evasive and questioning. Be charming and don't give her any straight answers.

Secrets have always given me approval in that quest though it even says in the official guide to save up on them in case you need extra approval. Sadly I deleted that character in a 4 in the morning rage so I'll just have to try again. The hints for the dance helps out a lot though I'll be sure to keep that in mind.

Well.... here we go.10626325_827831627239865_43186788688442710264023_827831320573229_493271821021947Qhulus Adaar. I hate his hair (there's a little bald patch on the top of his head), but I really like his look.... so much tweaking that jaw :P. (He also has faint eye makeup).

Also, a bonus pic of Corynne Lavellan, my new Dalish Inquisitor.10841982_827831257239902_792345148220762

They're a little too wide set, for my taste, I'll admit.

just because I wasn't much active in the lst days in the forum...there have been any word about the hairstyles by the devs? be it about the Qunari or hair in general?  :(

I find so strange that they didn't say a thing about an argumant that seem to appear in every tread or so...

I've got a question about the mud bun I've seen some pictures of it where to bald spot is a lot smaller than the one I'm getting when I pick that style so my question is how do I minimize that bald spot? When I tried messing around with the forehead option all I could do was make it a bigger bald spot is there another part of the face I should tweak to make that awful bald spot less glaring?

I had fun with my qunquisitor but the makeup bugs me a bit...I want something subtle...not "OH HAI, purple lips here!"

So, seeing as a lack of hair options is an issue not just for Qunari (though it is certainly worst for this race) but for all races in the CC, I must ask; What do people honestly think our chances are of seeing more hair options patched in latter?

It's a pretty widely requested feature, but I'm not sure that will be enough for the fine folks at Bioware to make it happen. I'm certainly no game programmer, I have no idea how easy or difficult this may be. And I can't say I recall more character creation features being patched into a game before. I just want to know, honestly, if people think we'll get some more and better hairs.

Well I don't think any of the previous games have ever patched in more hair... But then again I don't think we've had a game with such an abysmally low selection of decent hair to choose from. I'm guessing no, we won't see any new hair in patches, but I am pessimistic and as mentioned this is a little different to DAO and DA2 where we had a decent selection.

However there is always hope with mods. Despite Frostbite being supposedly 'unmoddable' people have managed to make a huge amount of progress so far in terms of accessing the game content and changing the textures of outfits like the dreaded pajamas. So I have confidence that we will see some great mod hair coming in the future, we just have to be patient because it may take a little time.

I noticed very odd hair thing for male qunari's mudbun (I tried DAI's CC on my friends laptop) I think it's designing flaw.

Here, between ear and horns is blond hair.

2014-12-21_00001_zps05bcd367.jpg

The hair is white, beard and eyebrowns grey and then there is this random spot of blond hair? Shouldn't it match the actually hair color, now it looks like it doesn't belong there at all. I tried other haircolors and they all had this problem, the random spot is different color than rest of hair. I wonder if it's just bug or really designing flaw? If it's designing flaw why it wasn't noticed, it's so obvious..

So I finally decided to do it and make the female Qunari mage. I really wanted to give her the twin long broken horns but they only came together with a Mohawk that I didn't like for her so eventually I went with this:

QunquisitorCullen2.jpg

Which also, oddly, has a blond patch at the side. Actually, I originally wanted to go for the hornless cornrows but they're bald on the side which is even worse.

I really wish we could have had Sten's hairstyle.

Modders are making their own toolkit : http://forum.bioware...9048-dai-tools/

It's still work in progress, you can see its features over there : http://daitools.free...updates-f3.html

The toolkit allow only for now texture swap, some modders are already changing some stuff like the Skyhold outfit for example :

Modders are preparing some aesthetic mods too and wait that the toolkit will allow mesh import :

Yup, it's a hairy situation (Maker forgive me). On the one hand, developers patching in more hair options isn't something you see happen in games like this. On the other, there hasn't been quite the level of public demand for more hair options before seeing as what we have, well, isn't too great.

As for mods, I have hope that PC owners will see more and better hair options in the near future.

Myself, I'll be over here in my corner, hugging my Xbox and crying quiet tears.

I know how you feel. When I'm paying $400 for a supposedly 'next-gen' experience, I had damn well better be able to use mods :/

a "next gen" game shouldn't need mods. Not a game with such crafting and great CC. Mods should only be there for those who want skimpy armor and particular things.

Not for basic things like decent looking hair or having something better to wear than a bland beige PJ.

That is a very good point.

Again, it's difficult to complain. After all, the CC, hell Inquisition in general is absolutely amazing. But that doesn't mean we can quite ignore or be happy with the fact that there are some areas of the game that are, well, let's say lacking. One of those areas is the hair options. And it IS a big deal. Character customization and immersion has always been a huge part of Bioware games, so I think we're in the right to be more than a little upset by the notable lack of quantity and quality when it comes to hair options.

Once again, I must ask, what ever happened to THESE hairs?

These looked amazing  :(

I'm really, really hoping we get a small DLC package down the road that is, more or less, The Black Emporium 2.0. It would solve a lot of the outstanding problems a lot of players have with the game:

-More weapons

-More unique companion items

-Many more unique armors and schematics

And, most important to this thread;

-A "Mirror of Transformation" that would allow us to alter our appearance in the game as well as give Bioware a chance to add in the hairstyles that so many are hoping for.
