I'm deadly serious. Playing as a qunari is the whole reason I WANT this game. And what is the bloody point of playing as a qunari if I can't look the part? Character creators should be good. So far, this is not a good character creator from what I've seen.

The Qunari hairs look dreadful not only are the 4 styles extremely simple and similiar.The actual mesh looks terrible.And the argument that hair is hard to do does not fly considering the hair is short and still look very bad.Bioware you are a AAA developer.Show it -.-

I'd say the CC is pretty great. The only thing missing are good hairstyles.

Because you can look the part of a qunari, just because you can't make it the way YOU want it look (which is why I never fully plan out characters) doesn't make it any less so
In their defense, there are many who swear off games because they can't play who they want.

Yeah, the hairstyles are pretty horrible. I was really hoping for a shoulder-length hairstyle that's swept behind the horns in a way, not... cornrows, bad wig, and baldness. It sucks because I had planned on making a female Qunari Reaver warrior but with these hairstyles I guess I'll just play an elf. They seem to have better hair options.
The rest of the CC is so amazing, I mean we even have an option to edit Adam's Apple and ear lobe size - but we only have 4 hairstyles for Qunari?

I really want to know why devs did such drastic change from both previous depictions of qunari (even male qunari in DA2 had longer hair!) and concept art for DAI. There's literally not a single piece of official art of qunari women with short hair. Even race selection card in game shows the option that is literally impossible to achieve. Could you at least edit the art to set expectations right?
Having short options would have been nice and fresh, but not having any other options is really sad. It would not be as frustrating if CC was similarly limited for all races in hairdo regard. But no, look at the option human male got! I see zero reasons why female qunari cannot have it. Just remove the part that falls on the face to avoid clipping with horns, and it would be just fine!
And the lack of hair options is epecially bad on hornless qunari. They do not even get varied horns as consolation. And, tbh, I would rather give up horn options. I love them, but I'm not ready to sacrifice hairstyles for them. Horns were pretty uniform in previous lore, and the hair was always varied in style. But DAI for some unknown reason flips it around.
I do not hope for change, I'm pretty sure is too late already, but I really want to hear why this decision was made.
Bioware please rethink qunari hair options. In the CC demo today there was shown only 4 hairstyles for fem!qunaris and there was tweet that it's all we will have. All the hairstyles are connected to horns and actually only accessed from the horns slider.

I will add my voice to calls for more expansive qunari hair styles. The ones we have seen are less than thrilling; I am hoping (despite already knowing the answer) that there are more in the CC that we did not see in the livestreamed video demo.
Couldn't there be styles that are a bit longer at the back, at least? A ponytail? That lovely long-with-shaved-sides look on the human Inquisitrix in the Fallow Mire demo?

Miracle or DLC is what I'm hoping. We have had armor DLC's so why not hair one if it's highly requested?

I am somewhat confused by the decision process here. They have a great CC and a new playable race that people are excited about, but a lackluster selection of hairstyles, which is something that many many people focus on when making characters. I don't understand the logic in providing a narrow suite of options whereof two appear very similar, and the other two are very polarizing. I imagine very few, or at least relatively few, players will actually select the mohawk or bald options, as these are not generally popular (anecdotal evidence from screenshots posted on BW and other fora of PCs in RPG games). The alternatives being so similar just seems a bad call. Especially when so many other options are available that would not result in clipping issues.

That's quite unpolite. Qunaris have 4 similar hairstyles (already confirmed that all are shown) in as big game as DAI and people are voicing their opinion in pretty polite manner. I don't understand people who say we shouldn't give feedback, negative feedback is something dev can take to improve their games. Should people always just talk how happy they are?

'Rage' is somewhat overstating it. And if by 'relative' you mean the other races get four or five times as many hair styles, then, yeah, clearly everyone's equal here.
This is going to be 60-70 € game.. I don't think feedback and hoping for more hair options than 4 is unreasonable. All feedback can't be positive and I don't think negative feedback should be discouraged as long as it's respectful.
Not even when I went to put the deluxe edition into my cart (the version I want) I ended up paying 85 bucks.

There also was no plans to allow to play as dwarf and elf. And they have more that four hairtyles to them. So why should people, who wanted to play qunari, be grateful? Especially the ones who wanted to play hornless qunari (so tons fo horn styles does nothing for them).
There's zero clipping issues for hornless qunari anyways, why not just give them all human hairstyles?

There are ways to minimize clipping. It just takes effort. Period. They decided it wasn't worth the effort.
He's paying 60+ dollar game. He can refuse to purchase it for any reason whatsoever. As long as he's not insulting the devs or other people I hardly see the issue.
The digital deluxe of this game would run someone 85 dollars. Looking at that hair I'm pretty meh. Especially when it's clear so much effort within other avenues of the game. Even to the extent there's bonuses. But they couldn't get a decent variety in freaking CC hairstyles?
(They could animate two extra romances but the hair for femqunaris couldn't suck?) I just....UGH.

they can't simply just make the human hairstyles available to the qunari due to the shape of the forehead due to the horns, they'd have to be modified to fit...of course that changes if you go hornless.
