ewww no - I'm anti Qun.
So you'll be a Tal-Vashoth elf.
What? A Tal-Vashoth is anyone who's rebelling against the qun right? So you shouldn't have to be a qunari, you just have to have been a Qunari at one point in life.

Everyone here has already said what I could. I've been going on and on about hair options for months now, and this is super disappointing. The CC and creating characters is a huge thing to me. I'd even say it's THE most important thing to me outside of a great story. Horrible hairstyles won't make me not buy the game, but it's just.... /: Dang..
They seem to be going for a less feminine vibe to the Qunari females. I mean, just look at the chiseled, angular planes of their faces. They look like exotic antelopes or something with those horns and short hair. Very striking and imposing.
Too bad this fierce look will clash strongly with their flimsy delicate walking and running animations.
I was looking so forward to having a prissy qunari with long hair that she could toss... Boohoo.

My flirty charmer with long flowing locks kind of went out the window too =/
She's too vain to rock any of the styles available either so...so much for that.
Nah. They are locked in. What we saw is what we get.
I know... I said they might look better by then. Who knows?
I got an idea for a hairdo involving the horns... And I felt like drawing it, aaand since I already had that template, I figured I might as well do a whole second set.
Maybe 3 this time that are too long to be workable in game without major clipping probably. I dunno I don't make games, or mods.
So without further ado... Qunari Hair We Didn't Get - Part 2.
The top right hair is a regular braid, only with the horn instead of one strand of hair. I... Kinda actually braided my own hair like that to a broom to see if it would work... So, y'know, that hair would totally work.
And these are awesometastical.
That's why I never fully plan out characters
I cannot possibly fathom abandoning an interesting gameplay and story opportunity like playing a Qunari because you can't get the hair you want. That's completely ridiculous.

No one cares.

And yeah sorry but what...15 minutes to an hour (maybe 2 hours of dialogue worth of differences. Maybe) of diverging story bits aren't worth staring at a character I don't like looking at for 40+ hours. I can get the relevant juicy bits on youtube. That way it's a win win. I see the interesting story Qunari bits...and get to play a character I find appealing!
No one cares.

Well if you thought the hair looked awful and had to commit to starring at it for 50+ hours of gameplay....
Spares me from disappointment in options
True
I have had my illusions shattered time and time again.
But now I'm good. Human mage looks lovely and I have no issues playing a human. So I should be good.

lol and to think this is the same forum that calls people shallow for calling the love interests unattractive.
'but the unconventional beauty guys!'

lol because wanting to play a character you want a certain way is the same way as acting as though you don't have romance options because you don't like how the LI looks. Just. LOL.
And I fully admit I'm shallow when it comes to my characters looks. I don't care and I don't try to hide it behind anything. I want my characters to be appealing to me. So what.
The devs allow us to design our PCs. They do not allow us to design their NPCs. If you really can't see the difference...
I mean you're that mad Cassandra doesn't fit your ideal? I think Blackwall's beard looks ridiculous. He is not however a character I have any hand in designing so there's nothing I can do about it.

You can't change the NPCs. The answer is 'Make do with it.'
You can't change the hair. The answer is 'Make do with it.'
The amount of whining about it is ridiculous.

Lol, and there's a big difference between attractive and appealing! Broken noses/scars aren't always attractive, but they can make a design appealing.
Similarly a hairstyle doesn't have to be 'beautiful' to be appealing. However the current options are neither.

Oh do **** off.

*sigh* If you don't like the whining here's a weird tip for you...avoid the thread in the feedback section asking the devs to rethink the qunari hairs.
As it is you're whining about whining so...thanks for contributing to the whining?
I mean...what you think your whining is going to make me stop ? Like I have any reason to care about your opinion?

That as well.
I mean I was not expecting model levels of hairstyles. Something simple yet nice looking was all I expected.
Oh do **** off.
The ignore feature is a beautiful thing I must admit.

I thought most people here were still excited, not that much negativity. Your post is however. ironic. ![]()
not that much negativity.
is that right...

I've only ever blocked one person in all the forums I've ever been on - everyone's favourite, Mr WhatNow. He's the only one who's ever deserved it.

If we're still talking incessantly about it in 6 months (and invading other topics to do so), then you might have a point.

This reminds me of when people complained about the yellow teeth. The hair doesn't bother me.
I'd rather see them focus their resources on making the game bug and glitch free.

I must've missed him. XD
I still remember all those mangiraffeedog spams =/
Anyway the holier than thou let me judge people on why they play their PCs thing does nothing for me. Whoopiedoo someone plays characters for different reasons than they do. Who cares. Your world is going to explode because someone doesn't want to play race X for Y reason? Meh.
This reminds me of when people complained about the yellow teeth.
Or the hands in DA2.
Or the hands in DA2.
Oh god those hands. *shudders*
I modded those puppies so fast. Horror show.
