I completely disagree. If the hair options had been there, even with fewer horns, the issue would not be as prominent or dissatisfying. I love the horns. They don't make up for the lack of hair.
You're entitled to your opinion though.

At this rate, if they had spent time on hair but not on horns, we'd still have this thread, but it would be to have better horn variety.
So close to launch, everyone's chomping at the bit for something. As much as it'd be nice to have an Adaar with longer hair, I think the love they poured on to the horns makes those the feature I'll focus on.
I don't think so if horns still had 5+ options. Qunari's don't have helmets nor tattoos.. or much hair at the moment, instead of they have horns and facepaint. When looking at what other races have it's not worth it. Since qunaris are without helmets it'd be nice if they had focused making their heads to look good, not only horns (all qunaris don't even have those).
If the hair options were more varied and had as good quality as other races hair has it wouldn't be as big issue.

I also disagree. The horns are amazing, and even if there were a few fewer options I have no doubt that those horn options would be just as polished as what we have now.
The issue is purely lack of quality hair chocies.
Hey guys,
We've heard you, and It's awesome that you're so passionate about your future Inquisitors. We'll be shipping with the horn and hair options we have now. We may look into this post release but no guarantees.

Bummer.
But thanks for telling us ![]()
i dont want to sound petty, but its confirmed now that my Qunari is definitely being pushed back from 3rd to 4th possibly 5th playthrough since i'll probably want to romance Cassandra by the 4th playthrough in which case Human Male will be my new 4th playthrough.
1st Female Elf Mage
2nd Female Dwarf Rogue
3rd Now Female Human Warrior
4th Male Human Mage
5th Female Qunari something hoping mods will be available by this point.
Well, I guess that's it. ![]()
We tried our best and Bioware acknowledged that they heard our pleas and will consider them in the future... that's the best we're gonna get. I guess we should be grateful they finally responded.
I'm still looking forward to DA:I, but I'm almost certainly going to pass on qunari for my first couple of playthroughs in the hopes that Bioware finally does something about their horrible hairstyles.
Male Dalish Keeper/Female human rogue here I come! ![]()

Sadly I can't even hope for mods since I'm not PC player.. I wanted to upgrade my PC for DAI so I looked into it but it's too expensive for me at the moment (it would probaply be wiser to buy new one than upgrade this lol).
So all I'm hoping is patch or DLC. Maybe the hair textures in the video wasn't final since racial stats of qunari were wrong if I remember (they stil had 50+ health there). Well I'm not excepting much for the release. I might save my qunari playthoughs to last and wait for possible patch or DLC.
Guys this isn't a failure - they said they will look into this issue post release.
just keep reminding folks
Yes and at least the know about problem now ![]()
Though I'm exceptionally grateful we finally got a response, we do need to keep active with this matter. If we stop just because Cameron, bless him, gave us an acknowledgement... and just drop the issue, rather than continue to voice our wishes they'll have no reason to follow up on this.
It's not about just getting a response. We want a fix too. We'll only get that by persisting.

Just keep social networks up to date. And this thread. And more people will discover the lack of options when they play the game.
Yep on release day when the "OMG WHAT'S WITH QUNARI HAIRS?!?" comes in we can just point to this thread.

Maybe you are right but i don't want to tick them off, they've made what appears to be a fantastic game and this is the only downside i've seen thus far. I'd rather they feel they've made for us the best type of game possible and we appreciate it. At worse i fear it may cause players to resent bioware and thats not something that should happen.
Nah we're not gonna resent them for giving us crappy hairs XD just poke at them.

The only way they would be ticked off is if someone is aggressive and hateful toward them and angrily demanding change via making threats and acting, otherwise, in an unacceptable manner. This is what you'd call a peaceful request, and these guys are so busy that continuing to (politely) let them know we are here at least once every, say, two days isn't so bad. It would be better to contact them more after the game releases.

That's some long hair...

Also: I think the goal for now is to build support for a patch. Support from other fans, I mean. So if you can talk to people and show them why you feel the way you do about this issue, do so. Then show them this thread and so on and so forth. This will be easier once the game is released because then the millions of people playing it will see the qunari options. I am pretty certain a lot of folks missed that twitch demo.
If players don't like the Qunari hair that's in the game when they play it (which is more then likely), they are going to be annoyed regardless of the existence of a thread like this. So whether or not this thread exists, I'd say it's an inescapable fact that there will be discontent.
But resenting the company itself for this is pointless and serves no purpose - better to have simple and civil discussion about the issue that shows all valid points of the argument and may even help Bioware see some options they could try. Who knows?

What in the maker's name is that? Lollipop Harlequin Chainsaw? Has to be fake.
It looks like digital art someone made. It doesn't even look like a game graphic.

Yes.
Also, it would behoove some of you to get the support of fans who have more pull than us peasants. The bigger fans that have a louder voice across multiple channels - e.g. Lady Insanity, or any others you can think of.
Looks like your movement made the Dragon Age Confessions blog

You're always going to get people who let their emotion get the better of them. It's unproductive but it happens, and though it's not the best publicity it may make more people aware of the issue and actively discussing it if they find their way here or to the twitter hashtag (minus the ranting etc, very hopefully).
