Look, I'm not trying to be rude here, because I do see where you guys are coming from.  The textures drive me nuts, personally.  So please don't take any offense, but I have to ask...,

 

Other than the texture issue, what more do you expect from the devs?  They can't just magically make more hair in the last two weeks or so before the game goes gold.  Did you want a guarantee that there will be a texture patch and/or hair DLC?

I think this thread should consider the matter has been successfully communicated and leave the Bioware team to get on with the crunch...

 

Activity on the thread can die down a little now we've been acknowledged, but we should still persist in some way until we see a more visceral result. Waving at us is lovely, giving us cake is better.

I cannot speak for anyone else. My push is for a patch to come around sometime in 2015. I don't care when - early or late in the year. I think that is incredibly reasonable. And I think a lot of folks here are comfortable with that.

We don't expect anything to get done in the pre-release crunch. We're not idiots. And yes... a guarantee of results would be frickin' brilliant. Though at this point in the 'game' not necessary. It'll be more important to get after release at some point; a month, 6 months..,. a year down the line as a DLC or patch. We realise little-to-nothing can be done as things stand due to y'know - it'll be out in a month and a bit.

 

Saying they'll look into something isn't fixing the issue. It's staring at it for a bit with no promise of change. Nice gesture, no substance. Y'know?

What we want - is a change. We just have to stay focused and be respectful about it. 

I'm curious to see what the end goal was of this hashtag campaign, and what you expected out of it.  No need to be hostile.

Never said you were idiots for wanting a patch for this.  Not sure how you read that tone into my post.   I was just asking what you guys wanted at this point.

 

Hey, I hope for a patch too.  Still, they really didn't have to say anything at all about this, especially during the work week right before they go gold.  I'm hoping to hear more this weekend.

 

In the meantime, I'm going to hang back and just read.  Good luck.

I have, but after Cameron's post, I'm not sure what the point of making youtube videos and continuing to ask the devs the same question.  They know it's an issue, they have said they are looking into it.  It's probably something that is going to wait until post launch.  Until then, we should really remain more patient.

 

There really isn't much we can reasonably ask for at this point in time.  So that's why I asked.

I didn't say that.  At all.  Ask many of the forumites that have known me for the past year: If I was going to say any of that, I would have.  I don't mince words, and I try to avoid passive-aggressive language to folks that aren't trolling.

To be honest, for males, I want atleast one (1) full head hairstyle. Mohawk doesn't do it for me.
