If Bioware decides to have patch or DLC with more qunari hair options I wonder when they will release it. Month after release of the game? Or maybe half year? I'd really like to have one as soon as possible ![]()
Please rethink qunari hairs.. or lack of them!

Ha, same. It took forever for me to get used to Aveline's hair. The first time I saw it I thought it looked ridiculous, way too bright orange and very solid, as if it was made of plastic. It's not a good sign I have the same reaction every time I see hair in DAI.
Heck, I never got used to Aveline's hair or face. I relegated her to the palace and only spoke to her if I needed to.

You won't find any argument here. A month may be a tad optimistic, but hopefully much less than half a year. It really comes down to the feedback after release, and what resources they have left over. If we're lucky, they'll be able to use some previously developed concepts or modify pre-existing meshes from the other races, which will cut down development time and cost.

I want to believe that but I can't at this point. There were things about DA2 and ME3 that I had reservations about before they were released but I thought "it's just ____ the real game won't be like that." Lol I was wrong.
I like reading this thread to help vent my disappointment about this, but I don't think there will be a patch or DLC post release and there definitely won't be anything before release. The male Qunari has thicker horns that would look much better with a bald head plus a bald man is more appealing to me than a bald woman so maybe I'll play male instead of writing the whole race off.
I'm with you on the scepticism (though I now have a challenge of making a bald Qunari female who will totally rock your socks off!). I'm just trying to stay optimistic that my Qunari won't look like s/he scalped Revan and wore the scalp as a trophy throughout the game.

I'll probably make myself a lovely lady qunari.
Then weep at her hair. (not literally before someone comes in here and calls me a drama queen

I think I could still do my female qunari with one of the tiny Mohawks but I think I'm going to have to pass on doing my male qunari, I have tried to redesign him greatly in my mind and he isn't co-operating with me he's so uptight. At least the female qunari I had in mind is behaving better and giving me something to work with.

I'll probably start making a Qunari, wince at all the hair options, then sigh and re-roll as a female human (and contribute to the count of players who pick human first, which I DIDN'T want to do)
I just worry that if I never do a second playthrough that I'll miss out if I play human first. So I'm going to create my qunari even if the hairlessness kills me.

Same =/
I was hoping to make human's overwhelming majority just a wee bit less overwhelming.

You know...I have to agree on whoever said the shaved bald would look better than the waxed.
Where is the fuzz? That with the mohawk might pass for cute.
Pretty sure that was me who said that a while back ... Shaved hair I could work with, but having a waxed head for my female Qunari just looks odd to me.
I'm going to try my best to create a good looking qunari, but I have a feeling that the hair is going to bother me too much and I'll have to switch to elf. :/

Something is gradually tipping in my mind, and I'm losing the will to play as my female qunari warrior as my first character. :/
I will still try to make a female qunari but I don't think it's going to work.
I think I'm going to have to fall back on a male mage. I want to romance Cassandra. The question is which race? If the male qunari have a decent hairstyle I may go for that.

I have seen quite many people now saying that qunaris are supposed to be unpretty and military looking. But qunari ladies have been pretty in every concept art picture so far, I don't get where that impression comes from. I don't want my qunari to look like princess, I want her to look beatiful, badass and intimidating: just like qunari ladies look in the concept arts.
That said, this hairstyle like this would have looked great on qunari ladies (just with shorter ponytail):

There is many nice hairtstyles around that has shaven sides so they shouldn't interfere with horns too much. I'm not buying: hair is hard! either since BW has already done so many nice hairstyles to other races. Human female has shaven hairstyle already that's long so idk why qunari can't have one.

Has BW ever acquiesced to fan demands AFTER a game has finished development?
1. Mass Effect 3 endings. Not quite successful. The fans demanded MEHEM, but basically got the same endings as before with the extended cut.
2. Aim assist toggle for ME3 console snipers. Nope.
3. PC text chat on ME3 MP. Nope.
4. Leather jacket for FemShep. Nope. Fixed by the modding community.
5. Request for the Geth Infiltrator's hunter mode to not be so harsh on the eyes. Nope.
6. Remapping powers for ME3 MP. Nope. The modding community fixed the omni button. Controllers were stuck with inconsistent mapping.
The only thing I can remotely think of being successful was the addition of the Collectors to ME3 MP but I don't think people shouted very loudly for that. Are there any more successes?
It seems that you only have an effect on the game if you voice your concerns early enough. But of course how on earth were you supposed to know that the hair choices would suck until the last minute...

Well, EA/BW might not be willing to fix something, but they might be willing to sell us a fix.Has BW ever acquiesced to fan demands AFTER a game has finished development?

Which... is it's own can of worms, but damn it, I wanted to play a decent-looking Qunari badly enough that I will pay for it!

Uh, it's like you are sucking my hope away with every sentence ![]()
Yep it's not like we had any clue how limited qunari hairstyles are until it was too late. But I guess BW can't just ask: "Are these four hairstyles that lack in quality compared to other races okay for you guys?" They could have notices that they aren't by themselves though, that would have been ideal.
I really hope they will listen this time. This is also why we need to keep asking this although some people seem to have issue with us tweeting to devs regarding the situation ![]()

I say bull.
While I acknowledge that there are many talented artists and writers at Bioware, that doesn't excuse the fact that it is - on the whole - a business.
They don't try to hide it: whenever I load up DAO or DA2, there's a running ticker on the lower left hand side of the menu screen. "Buy this!" and "Purchase that!" and "Take on dark spawn with the new mage pack! Buy it now!" Buy! Buy! Buy! Log into EA and BUY ALL THE THINGS WITH ALL THE MONEY.
So............why can't I treat them like a business? They treat us like consumers. Seems fair.

On the plus side, you have pretty much guaranteed (IMO) that DA4 will have plenty of hairstyles for qunari!

Let's hope.
I'm scared about DA4. Gaider doesn't want romances anymore because of the backlash it causes.
And who knows if they'll keep qunari?

Every feature causes backlash. There's backlash because of the way the rogue dodges. There's backlash because Hawke is in DAI. It's endless.

I made a thread back in December worried about the quality and texture of the hair
