The redone store in steam is brutal. I watched the queue for 10 minutes and I got half a dozen new wishlist items. It's nuts. I don't know what to do. Help me.

Stop what your doing!
Back away from the computer slowly.
That's it... nice and slow.
Now take out your wallet.
Take out all the money you were about to spend on steam.
Uh huh... all of it... that's right.
Now get an envelope. Yup Plain vanilla one is fine.
Stick the money in the envelope.
There ya go. Nice and easy.
Now mail that envelope to me.
Problem solved!
That'll be $50 dollars. Thanks for your business and come back again next time your having issues.

Personally I'm not finding Steam to be as impressive as it once was.
Mainly because lack of quality control. The store is full of shovelware now that I can't be asked to dig through in hopes of finding a gem I didn't know about.

Steam as a platform has some responsive issues but overall I personally think it is an impressive platform.

I dislike the new layout. Seems more cluttered than the last one, though that may just be because I was so used to it. Also, all those stupid recommendations. I can decide what to play for myself, I don't need some category tag system to throw hundreds of uninteresting games in my face just because they share a category or two with games I've got in my library.

This, plus I prefer to get my games if I'm able to on gog.com

Thanks to greenlight a lot of trash is being constantly released. Hell, just check Jim Sterling's channel and you'll see how many turds are out there. Oh Valve...
GMG is also a pretty good place to get dem vidya gaems.

One mans trash is another mans treasure.
Blaming Steam for having so many games (of which many are crap) is silly.
It's like blaming the library for having crappy books (like twilight) in it.
It's not the job of a library to store only books you find great. With greater production comes more crap. You just HAVE to sift true it.
It is same for books, for movies, for every media or art format ever.
