This thread comes with a nerd warning (updated Nov, original post in Sept).
The character creator is a lot of fun so it's well worth sharing the characters we create.
The ability to note a 'face code' is not in the game currently, though it may come subsequently.
In the meantime, are there any faces, be they yourself, celebrities or people with interesting faces that you would wish to recreate?
Perhaps.
Most importantly, even if there will be a way to share our creations in the future,
I would like to note the configuration of my inquisitor for future use so I need a notation to do that.
- Short of a coded solution via the Keep, the best way is to note the slider positions. Now that's easy for a slider that slides from 1 to x.
- Noting the setting on the 2D grid is harder, there are no gridlines, so a 5x5 grid should be detailed enough, in this example a grid of 25 positions in 5 x 5 rows, A-Y.
- Finally, the colour wheel can easily be captured with a compass position N,E,S,W and sub-divisions and the same 5x5 grid reference for the detailed colour picker.
- So the slider, grid and colour wheel positions below can simply be noted as '4.M.NNE/A'.

All it then takes is to note down the positions as you go, before you commit the character.
Then you can re-create the character easily or adjust one feature that is annoying you.
Even if no-one else is this nerdy, it would be interesting to know who else plans to note their CC states,
and whether you have an alternative notation strategy.
Oh, and yes I know we still have 50 days before launch so we can't test any of this until then.
On a lighter note are there any celebs or movie characters you plan to model?
