Wow, they all looked pretty awesome, shame about the lack of male elf and female dwarf though. Seems like there is a massive amount of variation for the humans so if that's the case for all races I will be very happy.

It could go back in time after that point, like some kind of memory sequence or something but the game does appear to start in the fade.

Looks like male and female Inquisitor's share the same hair options.
Yeah, I am happy they did this seeing as the longer hair options for females are usually a lot better than the male ones. They have also made it so that most of them suit both genders quite well.
I'm going to spend about a year perfecting each Inquisitor. I can already tell.
That male dwarf Inquisitor looked really good... such detail. I loved the scars all over his face too. This is easily the best CC I've ever seen.

If you watch the full video on twitch, BioWare actually shows the opening footage of the templars and mages marching forward. The character creator seems to occur just as the tear in the sky happens and the Fade opens to Thedas wiping out everyone in the vicinity, besides the soon-to-be Inquisitor.
The character creator is incredible! Very in-depth and very detailed. More than any of us could ask for. I also like how the character creator is being tied in directly to the opening sequences of the game. I love how seamless it all is. Nice touch.
And yet still no female dwarfs.......
Those human options my god.
