I have 2 players I wanted to play in Me2 an adept and a soldier. I started with the soldier then imported my adept. Now I want to go back to my soldier for a bit. How do I do that without losing my adept? I don't have the choice of both....really need some help here...

As long as you have at least one save (including an autosave), you can switch back and forth between careers. You should see a "switch careers" option in the load character screen.
