Some people like to recreate celebrities. If I play a human, I'll try to make them look like Michael Faasbender, and he'll be evil.
Are you going to model your Inquisitor after someone?

DwarfQuisitor Will be Tyrion.look like him, I mean
That's a good idea actually, dwarves never appealed to me but if I could get a good Dinklage/Tyrion lookalike I'd consider it.

Nah. I've just been doing sketches out of my head to have some idea of what to shoot for when I get to the CC.

Not really. I like to make them up in my own head.
My first inquisitor will likely be a female elf mage. She shall be pale-skinned with blue tattoos, silver hair in some kind of braid, and bright green eyes.

...but if someone finds a way to mod skin tone in DA:I...I will probably do a green Qunari run of She-Hulk. Punching all the enemies, drinking til she can't stand, sleeping with all the people, and then taking the Judgments incredibly seriously as a lawyer should.
NO I WANT TO DO THIS NOW SOMEONE MOD IT PLZ

I have face references for my Inquisitor, but I'll be making edits in the CC depending upon what looks good/bad and what features I want changed. I'm starting off with a Dalish mage and I reallllly hope the braided hair I want her to have will be available. If not, I'll spend a second being huffy about it then adapt.

And if he can say something along the lines of "Empress Celene, Demon Lords are our Specialty" I think I may squee to death. ![]()

Oddly enough, like my Warden and Hawke. Those two already look alike and my Inquisitor will soon follow.

Nah. I'm just going to pick a default and mess around with the sliders until I find something I like.

Your KE isn't going to be primarily diplomatic in his/her ways of dealing with things, is he/she?
Because if so then you are totally creating a Jedinquisitor like my Dalish male KE is going to be. And there can be only one! Though he won't look like Obi-Wan

In terms of appearance, I almost never model my player characters after someone. This is mostly because I suck at getting the face to look right. However, I do like to have reference material as a baseline to make faces; that reference material might take the form of other players' characters that I like (Mass Effect) or of recreated celebrities' faces (Saints Row). If I use, say, marcusgarlick's take on a famous person's face as the basis for a face, it's not because I want to use that person's face in particular, but rather because it's a face that looks good in the game.

The only thing I always do with my first character is to make her blonde. Otherwise, it's just whatever strikes my fancy in the character creator. ![]()
EDIT: That is my 1st Hawke in my avatar.

Spoiler
I don't know really I think so but I was more likely going to take Obi Wan's sarcasm (see above quote) and then his dedication more to peace and order, though still skeptical about things and sort of a renegade in his own way, then anything else. He might be a little diplomatic though from time to time.
No no! If your KE's are going to look like Ewan McGregor...there can be many...please....
Does not compute????
